Looking for people to donate their Steve Augeri pics for display on JRNY'swebsite. In Steve's honor, I'd like to dedicate an entire page to him and his fans.

Personal photos (you and Steve), as well as concert photos are welcome. I'll also post any personal messages you might have for him. Hopefully either he or Lydia will see the pics and messages and know that we are all still rooting for him and his recovery.

There is also a Guest Book will on the page where you can enter your thoughts about and messages to Steve.

Whatever your position on who should be Journey's Lead Vocalist of the future, I believe most of us still support Steve and appreciate what he did to help keep the Journey alive for the past 8 years. Everyone is welcome to post to the GuestBook (no speculation on Steve's position with Journey in the future) and submit pics, if they so wish.

Thanks for your support and you can email all pic donations with your authorization to post them, to EclipticJourney@yahoo.com

I also invite you all to the new JRNY Forums.

Steve is not talking to anyone for some reason? Its hard to say how many years he gave to Journey as the last few are drenched in shame! Image

What shame? He's done a fantastic job. Of course he's had bad nights, but that holds true for any vocalist that's out there running the schedule Journey has for all but one of the years Steve has fronted the band.

Journey songs are some of the most difficult to sing, even on one night...let alone 3 nights a week.

Without bringing up old news....tapes! That was the shameful part.
In regards to the official site keeping you up to date..they dont. What has Steve said regarding anything ...nothing! No thankyou nothing, i mean there has been a lot of well wishing, really heartfelt stuff,reply.....nothing.
Its unheard of,most bands when a member is ill say thanks keep you up to date. What treatment is Steve having? When did his voice first have problems? He sounded amazing at Manchester and Monsters of Rock then suddenly his voice is toast.
I respect your well wishing but we are totally avoiding the reality of the situation and what happened,a post like this will just open up the fload gates of tapegate and the reality of what really happend. Its lucky Deano has not let loose on this post 8)

Rich - I'm glad you've started to accept that JSS is the new frontman.

Couldn't agree more with this. I certainly enjoy the Perry-era more than the last few years but there are several songs from "Arrival", "Red 13", and "Generations" that I would include on a "Best Of" compilation if I were to put it together.

I am not accepting that JSS is Journey's new frontman because the Official word remains the same. I have said, however, that I accept that anything can happen and that it is possible Steve might not be able to go on. We just won't know anything until the band announces it.

I still mark carrot as the most defining change in their music (although not the new lineup), it absoloutely woke me up again to Styx music, it's an album like this Journey have to produce next year and I'm sure they will

Still the same problem as always. They've not said he's permanently out.

If they'd just told everyone that at the beginning then there wouldn't be all the silly debate going on. And yeah I'm a big Stevie fan but I'm just being realistic about it.

The site's a nice thought though. Not knocking it.

1) There is no official word.

2) There is word here and there about things though.

3) At least you're open to it, unlike this summer where you repeated the same dopey lines over and over again.

While I really like what JSS is bringing to the band, I also support all of the Journey singers, SA included.

I'll send some pics from Daytona 2003, one of the best shows I've ever seen or heard.

Hey...I wish success for this lineup of Journey. I don't know that I think Carrot was all that defining in terms of change, but it's cool. Enjoy.

Right. There's no official word about TapeGate and there probably never will be. I've said (as well as others have) before that the statement that they'll make will be something like "Due to ongoing health issues SA will not be returning. We wish him well but the Journey will continue with our new singer JSS". Or something of the like. If even that.
TapeGate was not fictional to a LOT of people. The "Delusional fans who made it up" didn't make it up, they made people aware of it. People will take it or leave it as they will.
'nuff said.
