Good ole RichMeyers has tried to throw a little Augeri PR into MR.com, via bullshit well wishing crap.

Dude,

You said you would respond to anyone with an intelligent, cohesive, well thought out response. I can't wait to hear your response to this.

Back when I made the case against Augeri, the case he was NOT singing live, I had a thousand enemies. I persevered in search of the truth for the band I truly give a shit about. I knew this Bullshit was happening the 2nd week of the tour, yet gave them a pass because it was the 30th anniversary tour, and they deserved to celebrate it. Only when did they try to do it again in Europe and the US this year, did I raise Hell. I didn't stick my head in the sand, rather, I affected change, because I care, and I have balls, something you and your minions over there will NEVER have. Don't think I wasn't correct? You think I'm delusional? That's a laugh. Ask people who originally hated me, and despised me, and said I was full of shit, people like Nealisgod, Red13JoePa, ArrivalRules, and a bunch of others. I wonder what they would say now? I wonder if they will come in here and say, "Dean was 100% correct." I bet all three would.

What you are trying to do is make yourself look like a compassionate fan, asking for well wishes for a guy who doesn't deserve any. That's right, all 8 years of his effort is for not, zero, nothing. You don't pull the shit he pulled at this level for this band. Just think, one guy and his keyboard. I did the right thing, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Do you know you and your board at BT are laughed at? People laugh AT you. You want an official statement, it's coming. There is ZERO chance of him ever singing again for Journey, I can promise you that. The band needed for this to happen. They were done without this change. They were absolutely dead, exactly the opposite of what Journey the name says.

Why don't you think Neal, Ross and JSS don't post at BT? Ok Jeff does because he is too cool, but I can tell you Neal reads THIS board, and likes it.

Now you said, you would respond to reasonable debate. Is this before or after you called me a delusional fan? Trust me, I am anything but delusional. You will never have access and knowledge like I do Rich...Never.

I was ready to leave this Tapegate issue go. I want it to go away, yet you Augeri fans keep bringing it up, and when you do, guess what? it will all be defended once again, until you are blue in the face with fact and more facts.

PS- I posted a soundboard boot three weeks ago from Atlantic City. You could hear them all breathing it was so close and clear. Had I posted a soundboard of Augeri in 06, my case would have been made in 15 seconds.

PPS_ This isn't a bash just to bash. It's the 100% truth, indesputable fact. Can't you read through the words of the moderator?

First everyone knows...or should...that I think Steve Augeri is a good person, he has been wonderful to me and my family, and I have no beef with him...I know Dean will thrash me for that...but it's ok...he is buying all my drinks in Baltimore...so I get the last laugh... :wink:

DEAN WAS 100% RIGHT!

So...now...JSS is on board...and for the first time in almost 20 years Journey's future looks REALLY bright.

Jeff is an awesome singer...and every bit as nice Steve Augeri...he is a class act period...and he is going to take Journey to places never dreamed of in the last 8 years I can tell you. Journey's future is NOW...and though I don't always agree with Deano's style...I will raise a toast to him bucking the trend and taking the abuse to get the truth out.

There...my $.10 worth...now go listen to some Journey and envision how cool the future is...

Unless he signed something, the only thing that stops him from saying anything is himself.

I don't know this Rich guy, but it definitely was not a good move on his part. It's just asking for trouble. I like Augeri and have enjoyed his contributions to Journey, but I think this needed to happen to Journey in order for them to have a future.
