Still downloading(dialup) so I haven't heard the song yet. I just wanted to respond to your comment about always recognizing Steve's voice no matter what era or range he sings in. I hadn't heard of the movie Quest for Camelot let alone that he was singing on it. Then one morning I was fixing breakfast for my family and a commercial came on. When I heard the voice I stopped dead in my tracks and my daughter asked me what was wrong. I said OMG that's Steve Perry's voice. She didn't believe me until they mentioned his name in the commercial.

I managed through great will and control to hold it until the commercial was over then ran to the bathroom while the pancakes burned.
