...I SO WISH this made it onto ONE of his CDs...

"Let Go" ~ brace yourself for the high note not once ~ TWICE ~ at the end

I agree Nora, that one's a fav of mine......for many reasons. That one and Lost Angels should definately have been on the reissued FTLSM in my opinion. :)

I think the song is very well done - better than several that have made it on to his solo albums.

Funny - whether it is 1978 Perry or 1998 (or whenever) Perry... You know it's PERRY.

Thanks, Nora.

Yea, "Let Go" is another one of my favorites!!

I've been listening to the re-issues and "Can't Stop", "Harmony", "My My My", and "Don't Tell Me Why You're Leaving" are REAL GOOD songs too!! :D

? Wow that one got by me. Is it possible to sing higher than the highest note on a piano? Reason I ask is that I heard Steve joke whether that was high c or e. Other favorites of mine are Winds of March 1980 live and Patiently from the same concert. Another I can't forget is Sweet & Simple off Time3 cd 1.

Still downloading(dialup ) so I haven't heard the song yet. I just wanted to respond to your comment about always recognizing Steve's voice no matter what era or range he sings in. I hadn't heard of the movie Quest for Camelot let alone that he was singing on it. Then one morning I was fixing breakfast for my family and a commercial came on. When I heard the voice I stopped dead in my tracks and my daughter asked me what was wrong. I said OMG that's Steve Perry's voice. She didn't believe me until they mentioned his name in the commercial.

Nope, never saw it until my daughter bought it for her son. I did buy the soundtrack though. :D

Just finished the download and listened to the song. If this was recorded for FTLOSM why in the world didn't they use it instead of I Am or Tuesday Heartache? I like I Am OK, but it's not as good as this one.
