Crud. My dinosaur of a computer can't manage this task! Let's see - a 166 MGHZ processor...36K modem...16 color monitor (might as well be B/W)...Win 98 OS...and no speakers!!! WHEN am I ever going to upgrade?

Hmmm...diapers, kid's shoes, food, clothing, gas money...

"New computer" just doesn't fit into those priorities.

I'd LOVE to hear this. How can I do that...? Give me some solutions Larry.

dude , thats just nuts!! you can get a cheap pair of speakers for 9 bucks,, just dont change one kid for one day... bam!!! new speakers..
Don't listen to Larry! Keep your priorities straight and change the kid!

les paul or strat into a fender hot rod or line 6 flextone for live... for this one i just went straight into the guitar port ,, little chorus, reverb, and delay,, that was it,,no "real amp" used.. these programs are just amazing!! you can actually plug in dry, and add effects to each part,,

I have a Line 6 Flextone II XL myself and I love it. I also tend to like alot of the Ibanez RG series from 1987-1992 as well as BC Rich and Charvel. I like the sound of a Les paul, but I could never get used to the way the bridge sits so high up off the body

i think we speak the same language,, my first Real guitar was a Charvel,, i love those guitars, ive never owned a jackson. ive had 2 ibanez RG's ,, they are fantastic too,, ive always wanted a bc rich eagle like paul stanley used to play, lita ford looks DANG good with one around her neck ,, shes plays the bich i think,, now ive got a couple of les pauls and a cou ple of strats,, and a guild acoustic,, i WISH i had all those guitars back from the past,, ive had so many different guitars and amps,, you trade them , sell them , heck ive even bought one back!! some times i have dreams about musicians friend,, i look at it at night before slumber,, have u ever noticed though , some of the best musicans have very little equiptment ,, 1 guitar,, 1 little tube amp(15 watts) and they blow you away,, i like pedals and effects!!! in texas, everywhere i play, people want to see my custom les paul (1979, beat to death) , and they say , cool!! but u need a tele!! if you play in a texas bar , a tele is required, i dont own one at all,, i have a friend in nashville, hes a hired gun for all sorts of bands,, he plays a les paul through a line 6 and musicians hate it,, they want to see a fender guitar and a fender tube amp,, u show up witha red "pointy" guitar and they will stone you......

No doubt! Nice advice, Larry! Next you'll be telling me to skip paying the rent next month so I can buy back my guitar that I sold in order to pay the rent in the first place!

DOH!
