Question for JSS or anybody at the Hollywood Bowl.

Postby Deb » Tue Oct 17, 2006 2:40 am

I just heard a boot of Wheel in the Sky from the Hollywood Bowl. Is that Jeff or Deen singing Perry's ultra-high note? If that is Jeff, he sure wasn't kidding when he said he could hit Perry's high notes if he wanted to....WOW! Image Had to laugh, after JSS/Deen hits it.......you can hear one audience member saying....f********ck!

Guitars101 has most of the show. The guy who recorded it said the weather messed up his equiptment so he editted out a few songs, but there is a disc's worth! I have it at home but I have not listened yet.

This sucks. I'm back on a 56k modem 'cause my Satellite crapped out on me so I can't get it without waiting for 6 years to download.

Oh well...

Soto,

You fucker! That fuckin kicked ass dude, you really can do it. I thought you were full of shit but I've heard it first hand and it rocks. I don't know what you've pulled off between Indy and Hollywood but cheers mate, that rocked. The bottom line, I got goose bumps from a POS boot = you fuckin rock. Now I'll be back. If I'm not mistaken that hole groove one the last half was via 1981 on the Escape tour, nicely done. I'll shut up now. I'm with the dude in the audience, FUCK! Keep up the nut crackin dude.

L8r bro,

Aaron

P.S. McNeil, have a listen. It sounds like the real deal now.

P.S.S Fuck you Deano, you were right dude.

I tried to explain in the beginning, I had been singing nonstop since Feb with no breaks...even the 2 week breaks between legs have been saviours! Wait till I have 3 months rest, I might even impress myself, ha ha...kidding!

Glad to see some are getting a positive turnaround here, no one wants to be hated forever! Although some of the shit slinging sure has been a fun read, it really is time to get down & dirty & show the guys knew what they were doing in asking me to step up...if I knew I couldn't do it justice, believe me I would have said no, I don't wanna be responsible for cracking the stone you know!

Dude, you are a fucking hero, there is no doubt about that. I don't know many singers who work as hard as you to improve what was already an 'A' game in my opinion. But now you're hanging with Neal and Deen so much, I hope you stop making excuses about that second Soul Sirkus disk. We want it, and we won't let you forget it! I hope you and Schon have babies together. For Real! 8)

Dave, I checked over there and have no clue where to look. If someone can give me a direct link to the song, I'd appreciate it.

Man.... Im so eager to listen to this stuff personally... I gotta wait until next March, in Manchester England.... damn it! ok...it seems that JSS has stepped up his game.... people previously "unimpressed" are doing about turns... sooo.. the guy is doing something right.

I have said to Jeff that he has balls the size of Liverpool.... I suppose it was a real bummer for him having to get in the groove, in front of audiences, actually at gigs, rather than months of pre-tour rehearsal ... Im reading him.. and he says its time to justify the bands belief in him.... still not convinced his voice is the voice for Journey.... but I wanna be convinced..as I love this band !!!

Has any soundboard stuff appeared yet??

Dude,

I don't always doubt you. I disagreed with you because up until the Hollywood show, you were letting your dick make your decisions for you. Now there is some real data to back up where you've been for a while. The bottom line, your brain would make the same assessment now.

L8r dude and welcome back,

Aaron

Fred, I looked too. Found a concert with Steve Perry that I went to back in 1995...but nothing on JSS or what hes done here in the last few days. I'll keep searching. Anybody that can help....please do!
