I'm the one who sent the Fresno clip....it was an awesome show! :D

These are my clips and I sent them to Jeff last night. I double checked and the links are exactly the same as the ones I sent him. No one else has them and I don't use file sharing at all so when I received several emails from Yousendit today harassing me about exceeding my download limit, etc... I thought someone hacked into my account so I deleted my account entirely and went on a search to see what the hell happened. Thankfully, no one hacked into my account. And it's nice to know that so many people want to see clips of Jeff that the downloads "exceeded their limit".

I already know the quality is crap and the clips are short and I told Jeff that my camera sucks (it only takes 30sec clips), but I thought they were interesting b/c I did get a clip of him on the catwalk and even with the rain and the wind and all the static from my camera, his voice comes through so strong and clear in every clip and you can see how much the crowd loves him. I did not film them intending to showcase them for public viewing and critique. I filmed them so I could enjoy them and remember what a great time I had at the show. That said, I have nothing against sharing them. I just don't post clips or photos of artists out of respect for their work and also due to all the legal issues involved. Without their consent, it is technically illegal and I feel disrespectful doing it without asking them first.

I only took 2 clips in Fresno, one of which is an amazing clip of Neal playing the Star Spangled Banner. I took a lot of video clips in Hollywood and the ones I sent him are the best of the bunch since my camera is just THAT sh***y. But I will look though all my stuff again and if any of you want to hear some great singing taped by a crappy digital camera, let me know and I will upload them as long as Jeff is ok w/ it.

Michele

I'm interested, if Jef ok's it! :D Of course, the offer for him to come sing them to me is still open. HAHA! :D

One question I have since I have never been on this board, and I'm probably opening a can of worms here....if people want to hear Perry instead of Jeff and keep complaining about him singing for Journey, why don't they just stay home and play the old CDs? Perry would have to want to rejoin Journey and the rest of the band would have to want him to come back for it to ever happen. If I didn't like hearing someone sing, I just wouldn't go to the concerts or listen to concert clips. I have been a fan of Journey since the 80s, but I really love Jeff's voice and his performance and I enjoy seeing him in concert. I honestly did not know who he was until I saw him with Journey, but now that I've seen and heard him perform, I would go see him with whatever band he's in. I've ordered some of his CDs, which I am still waiting for since they are "backordered" now. Obviously a lot of people really like him. The shows are sold out. I have paid outrageous prices to get good seats to the shows, so a lot of people must want to see him with Journey even though he's not Perry.

Music is such a personal thing that I do respect the fact that some people remain loyal to Perry, and are upset he is no longer with Journey, but I don't see how arguing and complaining about it is going to change anything. They should just listen to Perry sing and enjoy the CDs then.

I agree Charmed. I'm a new JSS fan myself since July, and i've ordered his cd's, some videos...and only until I saw him on those videos and heard his work did I give him a chance with Journey (I'm so hard to please)...I love Perry's voice, but like I've said previously, he's not coming back. I have two islands I visit frequently...one is Steve Perry, the other is Jeff Scott Soto. They are so individual and incredibly talented in their own respects. I cant mix the two as I appreciate them as individual talents...althought I find myself listening to itunes and when a live bootleg Journey song comes on I have to wait to hear whos going to pop up...SP or JSS. Its incredibly cool that I can enjoy the same songs for this length of time with two talented individuals.

I do love Perry's voice and I play the old CDs all the time. Unlike you, who gave Jeff a chance, I think some people don't want to, which is their choice and I respect that, but then they should just listen to Perry instead of arguing about it as though Jeff singing for Journey is somehow blocking Perry from coming back. For example, I don't have time to waste complaing about how Guns & Roses is not the same band without Slash. I just listen to their old stuff and call it a day.

I have to be up in 2 hours for work and haven't slept yet, but will work on those clips tomorrow. If someone else on here who grabbed them can upload them on yousend it, that would be cool. I have to create a new account and they might give me problems since I have the same email address as the recently cancelled account so it may take longer for me to do it. I also can't access most sites from my work computer since the system blocks us from using most of the internet and working 18 hour days means no time during the week. I put those on yousendit on Sunday, when I didn't have to work.

Well, guess I'm not going to bed tonight since a few people PM'd me about wanting to see the Jeff's clips. I'm putting them on myspace and it takes forever for them to "process" it whatever the hell that is. Here's Fresno:

Let me know if there are any problems with it.

Jeff - if you want any removed, just let me know and it's gone.

I agree with charmedlife, if you want to hear SP, listen to the cd's. I love SP's voice too (who doesn't?, lol), but I also remember being dumbfounded a few years ago when he sat there on "Behind the Music" & said he never felt like he was a part of the band & felt like "the outside guy". I thought that was a load of crap & pretty disappointing, & from the reactions on the show of Neal & Jonathan & the others interviewed there, seems they were just as shocked. Maybe I'm totally wrong, that's just how I see it, JMHO! :)

Jeff, if you happen to see this, PLEEEEEASE don't let ANYONE make you feel you are doing anything but an AMAZING job! You're incredible!!

Oh & those of you who are new JSS fans , enjoy your cd's when they come! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of mine!!!!! Hope you ordered Soul Sirkus too! :)

And look at Perry today not part of the band and the outside guy.
Im not sticking up for that comment it was really lame

Thats right its all about Jeff
In fact lets call the band Jeff so you kiss asses can really be in heaven.

These are my clips and I sent them to Jeff last night.

My apologies....I also sent clips to Alex for the JSS media site, and I assumed this was one of them. I didn't bother to look at the file. My clips are posted on the JSS media site.

After seeing the default picture on your MySpace profile....I know who you are now...we were right in front of you - in the front row.

I will be honest with ya Jeff I don't care and its now time for the copying of Steve Perry to stop.
Im sure you do a nice job you look excited and all but we are now on Steve Perry clone number 2
That to me is simply ridiculous.
Did they tell you to say Neal in Don't Stop ?
Im mean really that is a total Perry ad lib and both you and Augeri use it
Get real man.
Do we really need to hear these same 15 songs year after year with now a second singer singing them?
I know you saved these guys asses but I hope after this leg its the end

Just like Gowan who has ruined STYX I hope your man enough to move away from JRNY and let Steve Perry get a chance to take his job back
There is no way in hell a new incarnation of JRNY is going to work
Im sorry to break that to you.

JRNY needs to finish with Perry and I don't care if its for a new cd and 5 shows
Thats certainly better than this band running around year after year singing Only The Young for the 500th time.

You sound like a clown, only not funny and kind of queer. Go eat some pamprin.

No need to apologize at all :D I'll have to check out your videos. I'm sure your clips are 100 times better than mine since my digital camera is awful and you had better seats than I did! I was 2nd row center in Fresno, but nothing beats front row. I had front row for the Hynudai Pavilion in San Bernardino, but that place is a nightmare when it comes to cameras. The last time I was there they didn't even allow in cell phones due to their issues with cameras. Now you can bring in a cell, but my cell takes even worse video than my camera so I didn't bother.

Here's another one from Hollywood:
