Naw, I don't think so JoePa.
I gathered from your post that when you said "Time"
you were referring to the Precious Time Title.
I was probably incorrect in my assumption.

If this is but a ball of confusion please pass it on to
Froy or Monker a wee gift to help pass their time

As far as ballads...Why Can't This Night Go On Forever (I love what Perry does on this one) ... and Stay Awhile.

I know, you asked for fave Journey song, but this one seems to be about Journey, so I thought it'd be OK.

Have you ever seen the video to Anyway ?
I wish someone would put that on YOU TUBE
IF not Im going to have to do it ,

Do you mean the video that you put together? At least I think it was you. I didn't ever hear of an official video. The one that I have a ratty vhs copy of broke my heart the first time I watched it.

That last note stops your heart. That song and "I'm Cryin" are a Steve Perry music lesson, imo.

My number 1 favorite song of all time by any group has been the same since 1983 - Faithfully.

Number 2 changes every day, Separate Ways, Escape, Send Her My Love, etc.

A Better Life is moving up fast, too.

Holy shit! You mean there is actually another person who thinks this song kicks ass besides me? This is the best Augie-era song Journey recorded, I think...and Schon's solo at the end of that song is right up there with his best.

Terrific song.
Love Schon's outro as well....I have a dilema on wether I like the recorded Neal outro or the live one in Biloxi, MI 2002.....
love the lyric "You gave up on counting days to count the days since you gave up."

That's really beautiful..
"Stand in a sun shower,After all it's only rain/And let it wash away the pain"

My fave:"There's more to love than meets the eye/There's more to a sunrise than a simple ray of light"

Great song. :)
