Hey everyone!

Finally,I have a computer and time to post! :)
It's so good to be back,I've missed this place a lot! Can't believe that soon it'll be one month since I am in the US and so far I had a GREAT time!
Until last week I was in California,stayed in San Francisco,LA and then spent a weekend in Vegas. 8) Loved every minute!

Now I am on the East Coast,having the best time with Mindy! :wink:
Just finished uploading a few pics I took in CA and I thought to share them here.

I was very lucky to meet up with some really nice people...
The first one was Uncle Joe Benson...What a cool guy!
He hosted the LA fair in Pomona where I saw Grand Funk and The Doobie Brothers - awesome shows!

Here he is,on stage,introducing GFR:

We met backstage after the show and he was very nice,we laughed a lot and took a few pics.
I gotta say I was very surprised that he knew who I was and I got to sign a copy of my book for him. :shock:
Actually it was a fun thing as he signed me a KLOS promo thingy and I signed the book for him,so that was pretty funny.. :lol:

A few days later I met Mike Hausmann...He is one of the finest gentelmen I have ever met.Wow.
He was Journey's photographer between 1979 and 1981 and he told me some great stories from that time...
It was fascinating to sit next to this man and hear real stories about Perry,Schon,Cain,Herbie Herbert and all the others.Mike witnessed the best of Journey,that's for sure. 8)

This is one of the finest memories I will have from CA.

Before leaving San Francisco last week,I got to meet Lora Beard as well.I think I met her 2 days after Dean met Lora and Cyndy at that show. :lol: Only I was at the Fan Asylum in SF and met Lora there.Cyndy wasn't around,so I had a great chat with Lora - she's very nice and sweet.Too bad we didn't took any pics.I simply forgot I had a camera with me. :shock: Geez. :roll:

Anyway,I am very happy I got to meet everyone! :D

Now we're getting ready to see Hugo in action this Saturday in New York... 8) Oh,Mama. :twisted:

I have to say America is great this year too!
My personal "awards" are... :wink:

best coffee:black with Hazelnut creamer. (Starbucks:white chocolate mocha,he-he)
best food:chicken quesadilla

best fun place:Universal Studios (I saw Steven Spielberg driving around a movie set!!! :shock: )
best beach:Venice (awesome sunset!)
best scenery:Red Rocks,Nevada (stunning!)

best ride:the Manhattan Express rollercoaster at the NY NY hotel in Vegas. :lol:

now...

worst moment:being screend at the airport. :?
worst airline:Frontier (lost baggages,teared up suitcase. :evil: )
worst drink:root beer
worst decision:wearing high heels in Las Vegas and walking for 9 hours. :lol: Crazy.

But the best is yet to come! 8)

Oh,before closing,I have a t-shirt I wanna sell. :lol: Thing is I have a crush on Mick but I think he lost my number so I wanna lose the t-shirt. :wink:
Any Stones fans around here? :lol:

Wow, you got to meet Uncle Joe, Mike Hausmann, Lora Beard.............. what a busy girl you have been ! :D

You must give a review of Hugo in concert !

Anyway, I am glad that you are having a good time ! I can't wait to hear more from your trip ! 8)

OK....here's a picture of Shania and I shortly before leaving for Burger King.....

After consuming burgers and battered fries, and some cheese cake (new BK specialty :lol: ) we decided to go for a swim...
