IT'S OFFICIAL!

Postby Deuce » Tue Oct 24, 2006 6:13 pm

Congratulations fellow KISS/Paul Stanley enthusiasts! After three years, four months, and four days of waiting, Paul Stanley's new solo album has finally been released! Remember to buy Live To Win today/this week to show Paul our tremendous support for him and his music, and to show him that we still crave new albums!

It's been a long wait and many of you know how much I've yearned for this day. I'm absolutely enjoying it and I hope that all of you are as well.

LIVE TO WIN!

I've had it for a couple months, but went and got my official copy today. Just in time for his show in Baltimore this Thursday night!

Well the mp3's I had sounded great, but it's always better to have the CD in lossless quality with the full artwork & credits.

I received an advanced copy about two months ago. I got the real album yesterday and compared them. In addition to the different track order, the final release is mastered, while the advanced copy isn't. I know that a lot of the files that have been circulating are from early leaked copies and therefore probably aren't mastered.

But what do you guys think of it? Does it get a 5 star rating. I say 3 stars.

For me it's the same.

I give it a 9/10, so I guess that'd be 4.5 stars. Great album.

Don't get me wrong. I still like these songs. However, my better judgement tells me that if Kiss did an album and a tour this year, rather than a Paul Stanley solo album and tour. These songs would still be buried in the vault.

The production effort also leaves much to be desired.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a 2.
