Something indefinable about it, (perhaps Perry's sincere vocal, or the fact it was written about his dead mom), elevates it above a standard ballad for me.

The song is not meant to be taken seriously. It's good for what it is, i.e., the guys fooling around in the studio having a laugh.

I can't take it seriously or laugh at it. It should never have seen the light of day - except maybe on some rarities bootleg for obsessives. To put it on TWO albums is beyond understanding...
