god I hope so. Still waiting for my first Journey experience. But I've seen DL, and $90+ is a lot to pay to watch Journey play for only 80 minutes, no matter how good they are. I'm waiting anxiously for the Journey/JSS tour, hopefully soon, enough with this Leppard stuff. (I do love DL's music, I just really don't have the desire to see them do a 90 minute greatest hits set either, sorry)

Not to mention their dumbass covers that should have been left back where they came from. David Essex was hot back in the day. Joe Elliott ain't no Essex & although I liked that song, it should stay back in the 70s.

I'm just not a fan of these package tours, as someone who's a huge fan of both bands.

For casual fans, they're great, you get two bands playing their greatest hits CD's in one night, but for hardcore fans, it's kind of underwhelming, since you're only getting about 70-80 minutes from each band. I remember when Oasis and the Black Crowes toured together, and I'd been following both bands for years, and yet it was really underwhelming watching them both play shortened sets, even if it was the same night. Mleh.

Maybe there will be some info about this in those interviews we've been promised...

You all know that the main attraction will be Gregg Rolie next year.

(Side note: that's not a knock...hell...I'd LOVE to see him live. :-) )

My instinct says the summer will be used to have new product to tour behind.
Neal loves touring behind new music.

Then why does Journey play so little of it? Sure, Generations is a year old but they could still throw one or two songs in on this tour...they tried to do a bunch of new stuff at the first show of '05 and then went back to only 3 or 4 songs by the second week. Lame.

For the very same reason they have stopped mentioning Augeri's name at the start of each show.
These guys are trying to make a clean break.

Headlining tour for what?
The Greatest Hits part 10 ?
Forget it go to sleep until you come up with something creative
If its Jeff than dump every single Perry tune
Then we will see how great things are ,

The entire current set list
Anything Perry sang on
Take that away and all of a sudden things are not so great
Time to stop living off of Perry songs
