So, with all of you naysayers, bashing Jeff... what will you do, if/when it is "officially" announced that he is in and Augeri is out (due to his chronic condition) and it's plainly clear that Perry is never coming back? Will you run away with your tails between your legs, or continue on your sad crusades? Inquiring minds want to know :?

No not enough. Get out of the past & into the present. Perry doesn't want to come back. Augeri can't sing. Jeff wants to be w/the band & lo & behold, he can sing.

Get a life Froy before it's too late.

Now that's enough.

Exactly. Will they still be bashing Jeff's looks, singing, or movements on stage? Or will they be wiggling to a different tune?

Froy, you really don't have much in life do ya fella?

Journey wrote those songs so Journey in whatever
incarnation can recreate them and perform them.
If they were up there performing Perry's solo stuff
I would agree with the line of your arguement but they
ain't so.........
Kindly get da fuck atta here with your sheet!

Yeah.. it'll all continue on. Predictable and typical. If it were myself that was stuck on Perry, I would've never even showed up here. Fucking whiners are whiners, though. Eh, froy?

Yeah I'm extremely curious what the deal is with people bashing his looks (hot as hell), singing (amazing), movements (which entrance me), & even what he wears? For the bashers:
-How do you want him to sing???
-How do you want him to move???
-What do you want him to wear???
-How do YOU look???

That lipsynch rumor was complete CRAP. My opinion is that JSS was great this year, couldn't hit some of the notes Perry did, but very very strong voice which I liked very much. I just don't think his style is Journey...looks like a Cro-magnon man....energetic stage presence but goofy like he is on crack, NOT Journey style.

Maybe they should stop using AUGERI sung backing vocals with JSS, since you seem to think they are so much better off with JSS.....

Bring back Augeri or bring Perry back...

Oh yeah the lipsynch rumor was crap. Sure. Listen, I have some swamp land to sell u real cheap....

Have u listened to some boots? Have u watched some videos? Listen to boot after boot of Augeri last yr & ull hear the same vocals again & again & again & again. If u need any, just holler.

Ur right. Early on JSS strained w/some of the notes. But have u heard him lately? Have u heard him hit those notes & soar? If u haven't, u really need to. I just blew my husband away playing some stuff for him. My husband was standing beside me going oh that's good, oh that's really good. & he didn't even really like Jeff's voice at first. Now, he's talking about how rich it is & REALLY looking forward to 11/7 when we see him live.

Jeff looks like a cro-magnon man? Yeah right. Get ur eyes checked. He's hotter than hell. Goofy on stage? Oh yeah right. Have u seen him? No, of course not.

As for the Augeri backing vocals. They did get rid of them. I suggest u check out a recent boot. They're not there anymore. & Jeff may just knock ur sockies off w/the way he hits & holds those notes.

Get real.

Read my previous post again DITZ and get a clue before your respond.. I indicated in my post that I have seen JSS "My opinion is that JSS was great this year, couldn't hit some of the notes Perry did, but very very strong voice which I liked very much". Your response has not changed my view one bit. He DOES look like a full on cro-magnon man. I am not the only one who has posted this- read the reviews on the Journey official site. I do think JSS voice is much stronger than Augeri's which is more reminiscent of Perry. But he doesn't hit the notes any better than Augeri and I don't feel his stage presence (and Cro-magnon look) suits the Journey style established by Perry.

Again, bring back Augeri or bring Perry back!

For the very same reason they have stopped mentioning Augeri's name at the start of each show.
These guys are trying to make a clean break.

Who wants to hear any Generations songs anyway?

Generations is a great Journey album!- and the big disappointment of the show with JSS was NOT hearing any of the newer Augeri-era material, including Generations or even hearing anything from TBF. Like Augeri or not, Journey has put out some great great tunes over the last 8 years and they should be played. Yes, the average casual fan is happy with a "greatest hits" setlist but I think most here will agree that to not hear newer Journey material (from TBF on) makes for a pretty boring show as though of us who have seen Journey so many times live do get pretty damn bored with songs like "Lights", LTS, etc. that have been PLAYED TO DEATH over the years. The best Journey tour I have ever seen is by far the 2005 Evening with Journey. 3 hours long the band rocked, they were tight as ever, they played pre-Perry, Perry-era, Augeri tunes and YES, Augeri was just amazing!

I'll answer this one for you. Generations BLOWS!!!!! By far, the worse piece of Journey music I've ever listened to. I mean really...who the fuck would ever have Ross Valory singing? Every other member of Journey, aside from JSS and Deen should keep their pieholes shut when it comes to singing lead vocals on ANYTHING with the Journey name on it! JSS isn't playing lead guitar and Schon DOESN'T need to be singing lead for Journey, period, end of story!

Oh yeah & I'll take some of that crack b/c I get seriously fucking high listening to & looking at Jeff. Who wouldn't?

JUst watched the video and agree with you 100%, JROX--- he is adorable and sexy... :)

You are a complete idiot. I agree that Neal and Ross songs should not have been singing songs on there but outside of that, it is an excellent album. Funny you are the same dickhead that was bashing anyone but Perry singing and now you support JSS. Generations doesn't blow. YOU BLOW!

Why does everyone seem to take Neal and Ross' lead vocals on Generations so serious? :?

You mean the past which is the entire setlist and the present which is Jeff going back to the past and copying it?
Your an egghead man.

Perry doesn't want to come back.
