It's an early Shrapnel release.

I would just REALLY love to see the look on Deen's face...if JSS actually called him on this.

i had the privilege of seeing the wild dogs perform live many years ago. they played pretty heavy stuff - you can probably figure that out from the photo. i believe it was at the same venue as where diamond rust, miles schon's band, made their debut in august. i remember deen wanted to play in journey even way back then.

Actually, Deen & Wild Dogs opened for us in Portland when I was with Yngwie back in '85!!! It was my 1st tour ever, I believe I was 19 so that would have made Deen 20, he got screwed that night as the stage was pretty small but Yngwie insisted on not striking our backline for ANYONE, Deen had to set up his drums on the side of the stage in order for them to fit up there...he was pretty miffed about it to say the least.

....& about Deen wanting to be with Journey even back then, believe me, so did I!

The first thing that pops into my mind when I look at this picture is the "Blue Oyster Club" from Police Academy.

Omg. Had the same exact thought!....I wonder what Deen thinks when he sees himself in that pic?

Thing is that back then, this was an image that was selling.I know I totally loved Judas Priest.
If I remember well, they were the first ones to get on stage with this kind of outfits...Cool stuff.
