For Carlitto, What if they are buddies to a point,they all get royalties, Steve has to get permission to use certain songs for remastering,Neal and the guys have to get and ok from Steve to play his songs at present concerts.What I'm saying is, it may not be as bad as we have been lead to believe. Journey is a corp.,and working co.,Is it all in the name of MONEY?But we do get to still have a Journey and cake too.

Has anyone ever gave it any thought that maybe just maybe there was a rift between these guys at one time but in all business when you came down to the royalties that Steve Perry and the members of Journey have a friendship only to the point of what he can remaster and so on even down to Journey doing his songs at their present concerts? Maybe alot more to this than what you guys think?

I would say, and just an opinion like everyone else's, that on a personal level there is a lot of animosity going both ways (Perry - Journey).
On the business side, I would guess there were some pretty crazy "Divorce Papers" signed back in 96-97 that really lay it out there on who has permission to do what and how much $$ everyone involved gets for ANY Journey endeavor.
