"In Journey, all the hit songs we had were based around Steve Perry's vocals."

Hilarious, if not deranged review.

I'll take it, because it's good, but some major errors.

JSS does NOT sound like Steve Perry. How many times do we need to hear this shit?

Joe Elliot does not have a supple or whatever the fuck good voice he described. Hell, it's easy to sound good when your voice is comin' off a fuckin CD. I will say this...Jeff is all live, that is for sure.

I DO agree, that Journey blew away the Brits. Like who can't? Slimey Limey smelly fuckers.

"Joe's voice is supple"? WTF? When I saw them, Joe couldn't hold a long note, and it sounded like his voice is raspy.

Deano, this review came from a chick. I wonder what she had to pay out saying that about Joe............

Sounds just like Perry
....I disagree.

Jeff Scott Soto is a supremely talented vocalist who handled with ease the many sky-high notes and the mile-long range in Journey's repertoire....I agree on this one!

Thanks PF. That's a great review for Journey from somebody who obviously came there as a Def fan. I disagree that Jeff sounds "just like Perry" because NOBODY sounds just like Steve. I think this person was picking up on the energy and great vocals and equating that with the performance quality of the Perry years.

Yeah, that was the review in my local paper, good review, still dont understand the "sounds like perry" bullshit, she must not remember perry much...But i agree, JSS handled all the high notes with ease, and they ripped DL a new one...

Granny, as per my new harder edge, can you tell the old man to make a beer run while in Baltimore because I want to take naked pics of you and send em to HS. You game?

I am serious, I want to do some crazy shit in B town. I mean nutty crazy shit. I plan on lighting my farts on fire among other things.
