When you get a chance, I would truly like to know what it is like to spend that much time with these guys. I have had the chance to meet Ross one time, and that was truly a treat. Jon was in a pissy mood that night, but Ross invited me for a walk and a smoke. Would love to spend a day with those rascals.

Better question is; what moss-covered rock have u been living under, throwback?
The issue wasn't harmony vocals.

Better tell that to Neal & Herbie - cuz they ain't buying it.

One fervent fan with a blog reduced this band to it's knees.
I know that to be 100% fact.

BALONEY! If they did then they would've done a Latin rhythm album by now! Or maybe I'm living in a dream land and perhaps the idea truly is STUPID...?

Could you please ask them about this in your next interview or should I simply assume the stupidity of it all?

Do you think the "answers" will come from Journey at the end of the month, or do you think the "answers" are in Andrew's interviews due @ Nov. 6th?

Don't know. We'll see.
Some conversations have suggested that JC wasn't totally sold on JSS at one time or another. And, if JC -after 25 yrs of Journey- thinks he needs some extended family time and personal project work, then it stands to reason he might choose to bow-out for awhile. Then NS would be free to take Journey to whatever level he chooses with little or no opposition. No idea though who would back-fill JC...maybe no one...maybe someone from the past...
Just food for thought.

Here are some more answers to go along with what Andrew has already said. In today's Pantagraph newspaper, there is an article previewing Saturday's show. In a paragraph about Journey's lead-singer issues, here's what it says:

"Soto, best known as the vocalist on Yngwie Malmsteen's for two albums, will remain on board through the tour's October finale and beyond, according to Journey's management."

So it looks like the article was a bit off on the last date of the tour, but there's some info from Journey's management that I don't think I've seen anywhere else. It at least confirms that he'll be singing in Europe with them, but I think it's pretty much what we've expected all along.

No, I spoke with mgmt, I'm good to go - I really just have to get the work done. I was in the US, then home (where it was my son's birthday and then a weekend) and then I left for the Uk, where I type now. So I haven't been doing my usual day job since Oct 10....

Oh boy, Andrew spoke to management ! That means MR will have the goods first, as usual ! You are awesome, Andrew ! :D
