Yeah... Well, Monker's probably playing with her vibrator right about now. The only question now is what orifice she's got it in. Maybe she's messaging her teeth, gums, tongue and the back of her throat.

LOVE Sirius.

Hate the fact that the metal station and Buzzsaw only like playing Motley Crue and Guns and Roses

If you like GnR you need to die. Sorry. Most overated sucky band of all time. FUCKING HORRIBLE.

Hate them both. LOSER SHIT MUSIC!

Just awful.

No offense. If I had to pick, I'd take Motley, despite the fact that Vince Neil is a fat fuck murderer (Hanoi Rocks) who can't sing. Guns and Roses just SUCK period.

TRUE!
The drummer kicked major ass!! OMG,it's been a long time since I have seen such an awesome drummer!
AR,do you know his name?I forgot.

Besides Paul Stanley, who was unfrigginbelievable!!(he hasn't lost a thing both in the voice and looks departments.. ),the house band was an amazing surprise! No wonder Paul was having such a great time playing - those guys backed him up perfectly! 8)

Too bad they took away our cameras before the show ...I was SO bummed. :(

How is this any different than those *warm n' fuzzy* gag-reflex posts at BT where someone mentions stopping dead in their tracks upon hearing a Journey song over the Walmart intercom?

The anser is there is no difference. None.

This forum is in dire need of a holocaust and posters like you need to starve.

Pink tutu wearing fairies like you are antithetical to the brass-balled, true grit approach of Andrew McNiece and his MelodicRock empire.

Let me be the judge of that - your previous comments give this site an equally bad reputation that I am fighting to prevent.

You also have all the specialized stations. I am a big Blues fan and there is no station here that is devoted to the blues. You have comedy, talk, and sports as well.

Now I do not get sattelite radio and I think the variety offered SHOULD be offered on normal radio...obviously there is a market for it. But I do see the benefits to it...and most of it is commercial free! That alone is worth the subscription price really...

I have XM in my van and the diversity is great!!! There truly is a station for practically ANYTHING you want to hear!! I have 2 teenage boys and 2 younger girls, and so we can listen to rap, rock, country, comedy (clean or nasty), sports, or kid's music at any time. Having the Disney Channel alone on long trips makes it worth the price!!!

BTW...it is not commercial free any more. That sucks, but just like any other radio station, we just change the channel!

Unfortunately for the kids, they don't get to hear it much any more because I've always got Steve Perry or Journey music playing!!!

There's only 6 channels that aren't commercial free (ran by clear chunnel), and XM replaced those channels with commercial free channels of equivalent programming. XM has 69 commercial free channels vs. 65 for Sirius.

whocares wrote:who the hell wants to pay for radio?

Our tax dollars already pay for the "airwaves" that radio uses, so why not utilize them? Satellite TV is one thing, Satellite radio is completely different.

$12.95 a month to listen to music I already have at home, and btw, who the hell CARES about Howard Stern?

To quote Steveforever -

Yes Virginia, this is what happens when someone becomes fossilized from constant filth and infusion of porn.

That would be more Howard Stern to a tee. Not saying filth and porn are bad, not saying it's good either. People need to stop forcing their views and way of life on everyone else and trying to get them to live how THEY want them to live, instead of letting people live their own lives. If someone wants to waste $12.95 on Sat radio, go for it, it's not gonna happen here in my life though. At least with local radio, it's well, LOCAL! They tell me what's going on where I live, not some other god forsaken city that I give 2 shits about.

I understand where you are coming from from, but I love satellite radio and it's worth every penny to me. You can still listen to your local radio as much as you want, but you just can't beat the variety and sports on satellite. I've had both XM and Sirius, and I prefer XM.

Holy cow... well lights, all I wanted to do was reply to the original topic you raised...I can't believe it descended into put-downs and insults within one damn reply. This place is unbelievable sometimes.

Anyway... I was just going to give you some input on Sirius if you're considering getting it. The station you're talking about, Classic Rewind, plays Journey a LOT. They tend to haul out things you wouldn't normally hear, like Walks Like a Lady and Party's over (and of course, the others...). My only thing with that channel is that they feel the need to play Foreigner every hour. That's ok if you like Foreigner, I guess... LOL! They do play a lot of good stuff though. The Big 80s is ok, if you don't mind hearing DSB and Oh Sherrie all the time. There are a lot of great comedy channels too. I don't think you get those on the internet though.

For what my opinion is worth, I'm glad I got Sirius. It was worth it to me. There is so much variety, channel-wise. You won't be disappointed.

Is it safe to post on the OT now? I'm with you bluejean, I started to reply when the topic first came up but it went straight to hell immediately after.

I have XM and I love it. It still has a buttload of commercial-free channels (I think they just added some more). My old man gets all the NASCAR races and I get deep tracks and comedy and all the other stuff. Where we live is a dead zone where all the regualr radio station signals seem to end on the fringes, so they never stay for more than a few miles. XM is great, I can get the same station for 15 whole miles!
