2 Questions For JSS

Postby jrnyman28 » Sat Oct 28, 2006 5:10 pm

1) You have mentioned a distaste for some of your previous recordings because you were nothing more than a hired hand, but you have been a true part of several bands (Talisman and Soul SirkUS being most obvious). Which "band" do you feel is the most satisfying or most "you"?

2) IF you join Journey and record a new CD how do you feel it would differ from your previous works? Obviously Neal and Jon will be a big part of it, but how would Journey with JSS be different than Soul SirkUS with Jon Cain?

I assume he's just trying to make it easier for Jeff to answer without getting his words dissected regarding the new lineup.

Jrnyman28 is an old, seasoned veteran of BT, so he's conditioned to be politically correct :) It happens to all of us...we've been told what to think for so many years that we actually sometimes forget there are some places where we can openly discuss our opinions! My hunch is that the question was indeed asked the way it was asked to make it a bit easier for Jeff to even approach.

Well then he should look back fondly at his time in Journey wouldn't he?

Yes go back to that, that is where you are true to music.

jrnyman28 wrote:2) IF you join Journey and record a new CD how do you feel it would differ from your previous works?

It wouldn't differ fromanything, the new Journey would turn into SS2 or Journeysirkus

The lyrics and riffs would kick ass but nothing more than that! Do the math!!!

What is up with the negativity L~L~ ? Well all know that Perry will not be back in Journey, so lets go with JSS fronting the band, which I believe will not be a "Journeysirkus" as you are apt to say.

If you don't like it, oh well! Keep listening to Journey past. Many of us here do like what is going on, and we hope it will continue.

No negativity here just reality nothing more. :D I know Perry wont be back yet

But, but, but it is Journey of the past, how can we move forward if they haven't done so either? :?

I can answer for JSS.

His recording of the Skrapp Metal was his most prized accomplishment.

You know the quality of that album simply cannot be equalled.

Hey Deano....UCLA win??? Fuckin' tickers here won't get to the game.

On a side note...Aggies won and USC lost so I'm happy.

Give them time with JSS, they may just surprise the hell out of all of us !

And if Perry comes back, it will be solo, not with Journey.

Yeah dude, UCLA won

We kicked the shit out of them 37-15. It could have and probably should have been worse. Wazzu is bowl bound. I think we are better then Penn State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Mizzou, and Oklahoma, and we need to finish strong to beat out those scrubs in the polls.

I don't think you are following me.

I went to Washington State. WSU beat the baby blue out of UCLA.

UCLA already played ND and managed to give the game away in the final 1:23. ND is not good. Mediocre at best.

Seems Jeff may also want to be "politically correct" by choosing not to respond to this question... :P

I have a feeling question #2 will be answered in due time, (or as soon as McNiece stops beating off to his Paul Hogan pin up and starts posting those bloody interviews!)

As for question # 1, I'd be interested in hearing the answer myself.

Hey Deano...

Are you in mourning for your fellow WSU bretheren, Drew Bledsoe, after being benched by Parcells? Poor Drew...all these years, and the dude still can't figure out which color jersey to throw the ball to, and more importantly, how the hell to get rid of the football to avoid a sack!

Watching Drew is like the movie Groundhog Day. Sheesh. You think he would have figured it out by now!
