I agree also, he has vocally been at the top of my list for over 25 years and will probably remain there.......but it doesn't mean I won't listen to and enjoy anything else. When it comes to LIVE frontmen, JSS has alot of Perry's charisma/passion and that is a big plus in my books. :D The sign of a great frontman LIVE is the ability to seduce the audience.......if he can make you feel like he is having just as much fun putting on the show as you are soaking it in....then he's pretty damn good at what he does.

Good job Catherine. Great one line statement that sums it all up for me.

If we could all agree about this and live it, this place would have a lot less arguing. However, it would probably be a hell of a lot more boring too :)

Not sure about that, but I guarantee the next album will be a treat for sure. I cannot wait to hear the Cain, Schon, Soto combo with their songwriting skills combined.

Sorry but It may say JRNY on the ticket but its far from it
And to sing such a powerfull song behind a drum kit is ridiculous.

Let me start by saying that Steve Perry is an incredibly talented singer. Definately one of the best rock vocalists of all time. That said ........

So you are not a fan of Journey without SP. So move on. We've gotten your point of view. Over and over and over and over yet again. You act like an adolescent teen shit disturber just wanting to draw attention to yourself. When is enough, enough Froy? We have heard your opinion, some agree, some don't. Your incessant ramblings and thread jackings are nothing but annoying. Someone posts a clip of the new guys playing a tune, and then here comes whambulance driver Froy with " well Perry did it better, here listen . . . blah, blah, blah" We got it Froy!! Why don't you just hang at Perryville, since Journey for you apparently began and ended with the Perry era.

Lastly, as an appreciator of musicianship, the fact that Dean can sing MF that increadibly well while playing the drums perfectly in time is as entertaining to me , if not more, than Perry singing the tune flawlessly. Although, I really don't hear any flaws in Deen's version anyway. I have great respect for any quality drummer who can sing while playing. Not an easy thing to do.

Yes, I'm aware that Andrew states that, but we know Andrew has NEVER had an interview with Perry, so he doesn't know any more than the rest of us do in regards to Perry singing again. That is not meant as a slam, just stating the way it is.

Yeah, Perry won't talk to Drew because he supports the band. Wouldn't even use Drew to shill the Houston DVD.

I don't claim to know the reason why Perry does not give Andrew interview,( that's for Perry to say, if he chooses), and you certainly don't have "any evidence" to SHOW that statement above has ever been said by Perry.
