When it comes to boldy undertaking new forms of media, this band has one arm tied behind their back.
They can't supply clips of Perry-era material on their website.

So how does a band go about identifying itself as Journey when it can't even utilize it's own extensive infamous catalog?

This is a problem for the band.

remodel old site as it is already the "of.ficial Journey Web Site" Fix BT and give us some real true Info...Talk to us fans as we are the ones that SPEND the money that you BANK...we have had no info other than from Andrew and this forum, that is why we do not go to the Official Site..

We love Journey music and have been Faithful for 30 yrs. no matter who your lead singer was/is....We just happen to prefer one over the other which is strictly as matter of personal choice....we still go to concerts and buy all re-issues...you have re-einvented yourselves with Jeff and we are looking to the FUTURE for new music to purchase....

Take Rich, Rusty Greenjeans, and the rest of the wildlife refuge, and drop scuds on that entire site. Be done with it.

Seriously, tell me what they have on their site that is useful? Nothing.

On further thought, keep BT..I don't want those assholes over here.

Good points TNC, but could they give us some news, posts some messages from the band-like how much fun they are having or what a crazy crazy night Ross had or somehow stop the Mythology Tour? I love Journey, most everyone on here loves Journey....we just want them to give us something.... 8) They don't have to talk back and forth with us...but they could put up a trip diary. They need to do something before there is unstoppable murder and mayhem.

Go to the home page & listen. Let the Flash movie load. Don't enter. Just listen.

Yeah just think about that. Close down BT & where do they BTers go? Probably here. We should all be chanting "Long Live BT".

Hey Larry u can come bite me any time baby! Mmmm (well u did call me a female horn dog so u deserve this!)!

I agree w/u on this. Journey's official site ignores their history. I know Perry has NO website out there yet, but it seems absurd that they can't have a full history. What do I know tho? Nada.

Whatever...they really need to redo the site from scratch & create something far far more updated.

I was under the impression that the band's website offers no sound clips of the Perry-era because they are bound by contract not to. Go to their multimedia section and have a look.

The intro does contradict this, but I still stand by my assumption.

I'm not sure what "new site" means, but I voted to revamp the old one because keeping the URL and unveiling a new layout would be like a new site.

Neal's official site is great and I think they should offer media like he does.

Choose better colors than navy and gold. They aren't very dynamic.

If they want to keep a forum they should seriously consider doing whatever it takes for them to feel welcome visiting again. Otherwise don't pay for it, as it's pointless.

The Flash they have on there now is not great and if they really want that kind of thing they need to get someone who will make it look professional.

It should NOT be this hard for them to hire someone to change their site layout. I have pointed out in the past that they can probably even sucker in a fan to do it for free. The fact that they obviously don't care about having a modern website is disappointing.

just a note: Vampire Hookers is a cult classic!!! made in 1978.
Starring John Carradine at his oldest!! He plays the king of vampire pimps and wears a white linen suit. If you like scary movies like me, this ones for you!
It was made in the Phillipines for you sailors and knowing that it will make a little more sense! Not a lot, but a little.
