Cool...yep, it's very beautiful, especially this time of year. My home is like the John Denver song "Take Me Home, Country Roads". I'm about 5 miles on either side of the "Blue Ridge Mountains" and the "Shenandoah River". My brother-in-law works for the Norfolk & Southern Railroad and makes the trip to Harpers Ferry quite often.

I lived in California for a year. Loved it out there too!!!

Norfolk Sothern sucks ass. There is a reason the Cardinal runs 3 hours late every trip. They treat our trains like garbage. I do like the black and white paint scheme though. I take it he runs a lot of coal drags?

I don't really know what he runs. Freight cars, I guess. He's just a good ole' country boy who is like the 3rd generation on the RR, can't hear shit anymore, and has lots of great stories about his trips to Harper's Ferry and Hagerstown. How the hell did you get here from Cali????

Does that mean I win the bet? I think it does. What did I win???

Fuck me! I can't hear outta my right ear! Those fucking horns are louder than Monkers' queefs! Amrak horns are melodic and toned...they sound warm whereas freight trains have whiny, out of tune shit for ass horns.....

Anyway, I have taken many cross country trips on Amtrak and always choose the Cardinal from Chicago to Washington DC, even though it's a lot slower than other routes.

I'm actually on the other side of the state line...just barely. Ever hear of Luray Caverns??? The Skyline Drive??? That's me.

Just a small town girl...livin' in a lonely world...took a Norfolk & Southern train to any-where...

I think we established that Lula wants none of that!!!

The only time I've ever rode on Amtrak was when I went to Chicago for my husband's graduation from basic training. It was cool as shit though. We had a blast!!!

I LOVE San Diego!!! I lived out there for a year while my hubby was stationed there!! We are determined to move back once the kids are done with school. Philly is really neat, my best buddy at work is from Scranton, so I get to hear all the PA stories! I'm about 5 minutes from Luray Caverns and the Skyline Drive (if you take the fire roads).

I look forward to talking to you all more in person in about 10 days!!! It's gonna be a blast!!!
