All Republican...Not happy about it but the alternative was much worse. It will make my day, though, if Julia Carson loses her seat on the House.

Corruption, lies and plain ol stupidity ain't gonna win ya many elections.

That's why the Democrats have lost so many elections over the last decade or so.

You'd probably get more honesty. Whether it's dems or repubs, they're ALL professional politicians (liars).

Agreed. Big money controls all. Anyone that gets elected to public office is beholden to someone who paid to get them there. The fact that an entire nation has to basically chose between two idealogies is ludicrous.

The best and the brightest don't get to lead. It's the people who can kiss the most ass that get elected.

I voted for Arnold, but my main interest was voting on the propositions.

I am dying to know if you voted yes on 87, Barb?

It was sponsored by Chevron Corp. That was enough for me.

Had to go with Clinton and yes on 87.

Voted no on that one. I can pretty much determine that if Al Gore supports something, I'm gonna be against it! 8)

Yikes! I obviously don't live in California but checked out the proposition and I would probably vote no also. They are wanting to put additional taxes on already expensive gasoline in order to pull it off.

Change is needed and there was no one else to vote for....the good people are not rich enough to run...only money counts... so change it is....not that all the "blues" are acceptable, but what other choice do we have????Maybe someone from here should run for publc office and affect some change for the good.....There are enough big mouth people here! :!:

Yeah, heaven forbid Chevron should be able to rake in another billion.

Hell, if Brazil can be 100% oil free, why can't we? Because we have Oil interests, that's why.

I hope it passes. The people/groups who sponsored it all have something huge to lose - Chevron, the Energy Alliance, or whatever the heck that was and numerous other special interest groups. The fact that the oil companies had 50 million dollars to spend to try and get it defeated tells me everything I need to know.

They just announced for Allen but Webb is asking for a recount. How can so many be so stupid? Webb should have had this sewn up.

Much like a couple years ago when the Democrats messed up, it's time for the pendulum to swing now that the Repubs have crapped on the country. It is cyclical. They are all liars. I used to be very into politics. I have grown older and wiser and realize that both parties are more similar than they are different.

Let's try it another way for awhile and see what happens.

Pelosi is **** though.

That's a bit harsh, and I think she is waaay too liberal, but I would rather have her than that fat pasty fuck Hastert, who KNEW about Foley fondling little boys, errr, buying them presents and saying they "look good in that towel."

I am a betting man, and as of right now, 908P, I say the Dems pick up the senate. |Webb holds on in VA, McKaskill gets the STL and KC black vote and beats Talent in MO, and Tester shocks all and carries Montana. It could happen.
