You know, that guy is extremely interesting to listen to when he speaks in front of the press. It's difficult to make heads or tails out of what he's saying. Though I think this will be a good change, this isn't really something to celebrate. Whoever the next Secretary of Defense ends up being is going to come under the same kind of criticism. I guarantee it.

terroists are happy that #1 Rummys out... 2nd the terrorists will be happy the democrats are in control... bye bye patriot act... lets give the guys at gitmo free housing while were at it... and raise our taxes... oh boy---thats what I want... OH yea... from Howard Deano, Gephardt and lots of other dem leaders... after 18 months of saying pull the troops out now thats what we will do... acknowledged last nite that they dont have the power to get the troops home...YOU SUCKERS!!!

I personally don't think that at this point it matters a whole lot who we have in office, as far as the terrorists are concerned. They want us dead for who we are not for who's in office. Sure, they hate Bush more but they will still want to kills us even if we elect weak-kneed libs like we did yesterday. What's going to matter more is what the libs actually do now.

Why would that be?
Rumsfeld never provided enough US troops on the ground to conclusively whoop them.
If anything, the terrorists would be fearful that the new Secretary will actually get the job done.
