Hey Andrew,

Not trying to rush you, or complain, or set you off, or put you on edge or any of that...just want to know if you can provide an update on when the interview might be posted?

Was just sitting here wondering that myself. Week is growing long!!!..... :) Perhaps will coincide with the festivities in Baltimore tonight. One and only time I met the band was at the Wyndham in Baltimore. Night I will never forget. For those going or can get there, the Inner Harbor is a beautiful place to visit. :D

Yes, the week of November 6 is just about over. Throw us a sentence or two or maybe a picture? Especially, if whatever has to fall into place takes longer than you think. The crowd is growing restless..... :)

That's where we're staying, friend who lived very close to there recommended it, she's coming with us, she's our B'more tour guide, lol.

Cool. Have a great time. They were right there in the lobby when I was there. Buses parked on the side of the hotel. Inner Harbor a close walk from there as well. Wish I could be there, but just saw them a week ago, and just bought a new house.......

I assume things haven't fallen into place yet. Perhaps this is a Journey mgmt thing. Maybe they can't say JSS is official until SA signs something. I don't know. I'm just guessing of course. But I doubt Andrew can tell us exactly why. He probably just has to wait for a word that he can go ahead. Till then, here I stand so patiently, for Andrew's light to shine on us....

U got that right. Last time I was in San Diego, I was freezing my butt off while the natives thought it was beautiful. Californians think it's HOT when I think it's COLD. A walk on the beach in that weather to me required leather jackets & boots. I have to go to CA in a couple of weeks. I hope it's HOT enough for me then.

Last time I was in CA (Santa Monica) it was August & the weather was awesome. Now I know why the family I have there love it there, because it sure can't be for the affordable living costs, lol.

No kidding. I usually stay in La Jolla Cove right on the beach at friends' place. It's incredibly beautiful, perhaps one of the most beautiful places I've been to. I could just sit looking out the window for hours & if it's not too cold, walk along that beach & oh the sunsets are amazing (always made me wish I had someone w/me to share them with). But I know what my friends paid for that condo & it sure ain't affordable in my book. I have some other friends in the area & just can't believe what they paid for small houses. Such is the price of good ole CA livin'.

Who cares "why" the interview hasn't appeared yet? I'm not interested in the "whys" surrounding the timing of the release of the interview. I'm interested in the interview itself. Surely, Andrew can give us an update on when it might appear, which was the reason for my initial post in the first place.

I'm not demanding it. I'm simply asking for any new update because I'm interested in the contents of the interview itself. At least when that happens, there will be something interesting for me to read on Melodicrock.com. :)

Maybe Andrew's worried about the site getting too many readers.... :D Only kidding. You know that every one of the really involved Journey fans, registered here or not, is dying to see those interviews posted!

Perhaps they are awaiting a HUGE shipment of nitroglycerin from overseas to handle all the chest pain complaints there may be in the next few days.

PLEASE - Andrew have someone PROOF the interviews. I've read some MR stuff in the past and certain errors can make for a discouraging read.

Think about it Fred. If there's wranglings or whatever going on, then he can't tell us why the delay or when he'll be all clear to release it. Give him a break & don't put him on the spot every freaking day. He has to watch his Ps & Qs too. It's a tough position for him, I'm sure. But his integrity is everything to him.

I have to say that for all the hype and suspense and tension this had built up, I expect nothing short of "Steve Perry is rejoining Journey and they will tour from 2007 through 2010 wth only a 2 week break sometime late in '08."

Image Image

With this amount of anticipation and suspense, I can't imagine anything less. Or if you just want to bust out some news on the JSS situation...that's cool too. :D

Yikes. I can't believe the almost daily houndings on Andrew about this interview. How many times does he have to say it?

Honestly, I do too. I was just thinking about that & talking to a friend about it. They've had a tough time of it this year. I think they really want the big announcement to come so they can at least know where they stand. Of course, it won't make them happy but it will give them some closure, I hope.

Drew, just curious...
I brought up the possibility a week or 2 ago that you might be waiting on an "ok" from management
to throw up your piece but you replied that that was not the case; that they were already good with it.
What has changed since then?

Again, just curious, not nagging...
I'm guessing they want a chance to get a new "Official Statement" set up to post at the Off. site on the same day???
We know how many folks COMPLETELY rely on those Statements instead of thier own thoughts and instincts :)

I was guessing that since the last tour date posted with DL is November 21st that nothing would be posted until after that date. Guess all the legal stuff has to be worked out - if that's what is holding up the interview. Just my 2 cents worth --
