I for one, am glad to see Allen. The dynamics of the board will certainly change for as long as Allen cares to stick around, and that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Here's a guy who spent years behind the scenes with Journey. I'll take his word over most here, or anywhere for that matter.
Well Thanks, Fred. I am only here because of my interest in how this "Tape-Gate" thing is playing out, now that some time has passed and Steve's replacement is looking more permanent.
I only added my input to the thread to say those frustrations y'all are discussining are the same ones that sent me hurtling over the edge in the first place. We (Cat CJ & I) really tried to get some "movement" going, but smaller minds prevailed and apparently still run the place.
Just think Fred, we could've done some serious business, but nooooooooooooooooooooooooo. sorry..

We were lucky to hang onto the BT discussion forums AT ALL. In hindsight, I would have cut them looose and concentrated on the store and the swag that is, after all, what it's all about. Benjamins , Baby......
But we're talking about "me" again and this conversation is about Tape Gate and the Spin........
Is There a PR plan to withdraw from TapeGate.....
or.....
TapeGate:it's causes and effects, and it's ramifications on the socio - political climate of JOURNEYWORLD inc.
There was an interesting discussion on YOUTUBE and copyright law today on NPR. The way they portrayed the music and video industry's approach to YOUTUBE and the Internet in general was approporiate to this discussion. To wit, they dip their toe in the water and then run away, complaining of too rough, no control, blah blah...
I can say that is exactly the conversation that occurred and most likely still does, given the nature of those involved.
