More news that JSS is in...

Postby Abitaman » Thu Nov 16, 2006 5:04 pm

On Andrew's front page new, talk of the new tour in Europe, with JSS on vocals.
So plans have been set for next year, that include JSS. You all know I'm an Augeri fan, but I do see that JSS is the man to keep the Journey going. It is about time Journey and management set the record straight to all fans. As much as I have hated to see Augeri go, would have liked to see him back for a try to see if he can do it, farewell tour, so he could go out in grace. But that is not going to happen. The band needs to let everyone know officially JSS is in, so some fans can get over what has happened and move on.
Hoping Andrews interviews will be out soon and a lot of questions answered, tactfully. Hopefully the band knows there are Augeri fans out here will not do the mudslinging Styx did-ERIC

Yeah, Abitaman, what were you spending time with the wife and kids? Actually having physical contact with people? You need to get in the game on this board were things really matter

No offense to Abitaman - it's great if you have a "real" life. I'm sorry - I just had to laugh at that one.

With all due respect, why would the band go thru another tour w/a frontman who can't sing? I do realize how painful this is for u Augeri fans. But think about it for a moment. Augeri has been having problems for a long time & his voice is gone. They couldn't put him back up on that stage even just to say farewell. I'm sure the band would love to be able to announce the truth but there are obviously legal ramifications holding things up. Try to understand this is a business. When things can be revealed, they will.

I understand it is a business, it was just wishful thinking on my part. I think JSS is the future of the band, and it looks to be a bright future. I would have liked to a farewell tour with Perry, but that to is not in the best interest of Journey. Wasn't trying to stir any crap here, just typing out loud.-ERIC

Yea been away for quite sometime. Computer problems for the most part. Had my computer back in shop this week, this time took it somewhere other than Best Buy's Geek Squad (they suck).
Been under the weather alot since mid August, Kidney stones (Dr. are not sure) and high blood pressure. Have test at hospital here in an hour or so. Be glad to be back in good health!!!
But I have had fun spending time with my family, not enough hours in the day-ERIC

Ouch
Got to take care of oneself
You don;t have much
without the good ole health
Sure everyone would agree
Get sick and who's fronting Journey
takes a back seat.

I like Jefff.
He' seems personable and capable

He has the energy & appeal
So I hope it all works out
