Yes. I sincerely mean this.

I want everyone to know that a united front is best IMO, and the Band does indeed want this. I have been absolutely horrible to those people, and I have to admit, it does get to me. I am being serious. Those people over there are good fans. They may not be as advanced as us in the reality department, but they are damn good fans.

I will post my LONG apology thread to BT and my united speech later.

I am considered a troll over there now despite being a member since 2001. Guess one of the cows picked up on my sarcasm.

When that site allows the truth and has a PM function, I will support it. It was because of BT that I first got to meet the band in soundcheck back in 2001. It's just laughable reading anything over there.

Carlitto...i read the thread that u posted...OMG. they will EMT;s over there when the official word finally comes down...it is sad how emotionally envolved they get...I adore Steve Perry, but i never carried on like they are when i found out he wasn't with Journey any longer..i feel very sorry for them..their world is going to collapse...

As I said before, apologies and asking forgiveness, only mean something if there is a feeling of repent along with it.

In your case, you say these things and then turn around and repeat the exact thing you aplogized just a few weeks, or even days, later. So, your credibility is SEVERLY lacking, IMO.

I'm with AR on this one. I never really had much of a desire to post on another internet site about Journey, but their "official" website became so freakin' nauseating, with the same 5 chicks posting, ad nauseum about how "dreamy" "Mr. Awesome" was with his "wiggle" that I simply had to get out! Until BackTalk actually encourages and allows intelligent Journey discussion without the mods having a thread locking contest, that website won't be worth posting on!

As a lifelong Journey fan, I do hold out some hope that BT will be re-vamped and changed, for the better. Journey fans deserve to have the "official" home of their favorite band on the internet be a place where they can actually go and talk about the music! There are some good people on that site and even one decent mod, so I hope for the sake of all Journey fans that a day will come where all Journey fans are free to talk openly about Journey, even if there may be some constructive criticism, from time to time.

There is a difference between critiquing the site, as you did above - and I mostly agree with, and attacking the people who post there...calling the fat, ugly pigs, retarded, posting obnoxious pics to mack them, etc. ESPECIALLY when the people who post here are REALLY no different then they are.

Don't feel bad, I was called a troll by a mod..I've also been there forever..I suggested they do away with the forums and re-vamp the site..I was basically told to go away If I don't like it..
