I agree. I am starting to believe there may be legal problems noone is aware of. If that is the case, no telling when it will end. Perhaps Augeri isn't just 'going away' like most thought he would. All stories have been not much action for the next several months by the band. Boards are about to get awful boring I'm afraid.

Well, I don't know what's going on in the negotiations but from the various hints beng dropped it does indeed seem that Augeri isn't so humble and gracious after all. Not a surprise to those of us who thought he was a phoney all along...but there you go.

I can't imagine how irritating it must be for the band if Augeri is being ruthless and demanding about his share. Surely 95% of the money Augeri and Journey are haggling over comes from touring material Augeri had NOTHING to do with?

Why they didn't just give ths guy a salary and a share of the proceeds (if there were any) from the three albums he did contribute to is beyond me....

Still...this is all based on rumour and speculation...and a long-standing emnity toward Augeri...so maybe all this is unfair.
