Honestly, I think it's best if these people never even find out about the Augeri-years. Let them rediscover Journey w/Jeff & go "wow".

I agree! I told her all about Jeff, & of course, as I've done NUMEROUS times, once she found out Jeff is the voice of "Stand Up & Shout", she knew what I meant, lol. :)

JMHO, until they have a radio hit again, they can't tour 'alone'. They have to do the double header shows. Just please god NOT Kiss. The Kiss Army takes all the damn prime seats (as attested by the Aerosmith Kiss show... $300 for seats back in the 30th row..grrr.)

I just can't see Journey with Kiss...nope, lol. Not a fan of Kiss anyhow, can honestly say I only like 1 song, "Beth", lol.

Call me crazy, but with Jeff I still think Journey could go it alone. Jeff has his OWN fan base that are very loyal (ME!! :D ) too, as is Journey's. I think between the 2, it would work!

Maybe just wishful thinking, since I selfishly just want to see them with Jeff for HOURS. :)

Hmmm...Journey with Whitesnake might work! Esp. with Marco, then after both bands perform, there could be a THIRD set with a little SOUL SIRKUS reunion!!! Now THAT I'd pay $300 for, but HAS to be FRONT ROW! :)

kiss and journey are looked upon by the general audience the same in that most folks dont know about the last 10 -15 years of the bands work , and everyone thinks all the original members are still intact...

hey , im one of the few that will not see this tour , but what does jeff do when deen is singing,, completely go off stage ??

I think they could tour alone, at least here in California. They sold out or came very close on all their amphitheater dates on the Anniversary Tour. Don't know about the rest of the country though.

How a bout a Journey Headlining tour with a re-united Night Ranger opening. Any thoughts or opinions :?: I am sure there are many

Yep. Well at 1 of the shows I saw, he did stand where I could see him, & it was great, he was looking at Deen with a smile & kinda shook his head a little, kinda like "Damn that boy can sing!" :)

Damn. I could see that. A little Coverdale dirty sexy lovefest w/Marco wearing the bare minimum. MMMM. Then bring on Mr. Sex Himself (aka JSS). That would also give Journey a good excuse to throw in some SS songs w/out getting shit from the fans & perhaps even a little JSS solo too would work in that groove. YES! I'm all for this. Perfect drool material. I want FRONT ROW too & I'll go to the scalpers for these tix.

YEP!!! My God, could you imagine? Where's Cat? She'd love this too, another Marco fanatic, just look at her avatar, lol. Oh & YES, some JSS solo stuff would fit there just fine IMO! :)

Alright Journey, let us have it, you & Whitesnake, throw in some SS, come on!! DAMN that would be great. :)

Same here - I only liked their song, "Beth" way back when. I'd rather see Journey alone or possibly with Styx (I've never seen them).

Mine too Larry!

I'm sure Neal wouldn't want it because KISS would blow Journey away in concert....with or without the make-up....

Surely Night Ranger screams HAS BEEN? And let's be honest...they were a B-list act in the 80s too. If Journey have any desire to reinvent themselves then touring with bands like this needs to be avoided at all costs. That cruise ship show with REO and Styx was the saddest moment in Journey's career, I reckon.

But if Journey have surrendered to the nostalgia circuit and have no ambitions beyond that then I guess it doesn't really matter...

You all have my personal promise. IF Journey tours with KISS, not only will I start a Blog, but I will blow up both of their buses and beat the shit out of the individual members. Fuckin KISS.....Pathetic.
