This album is schizophrenic as hell. One good song, two bad songs. One okay song, one great song, two bad ones. Make up your mind if you're gonna suck or what.

You cant honestly say that you prefer Generations over these two releases? Madness.

These two albums blow Generations in to the water.

Generations is the absolute pisspot Journey release if ever there was one. Its a complete and utter shambles and a disgrace to the Journey name, even worse (or maybe not) than the shambolic Soul SirkUS. And to think, we have all that SS crap (probably) all over again with the next Journey release. Oh fuckin dear!!

Compared to what, Maverick? Who would you say was average and above average?

Seems strange to me how ANY record featuring Perry in his prime could be considered inferior to an average pop record....

And it's strange too that WCTNGF got a rating of 1 earlier on....whereas the same poster gave WYLAW a 10. Yes, I'm talking to you Frostbite :) .

Does Perry pay you to defend this album so fiercely? Damn!

Watch out Officer Matthew-ROR-Cop is here!

 I PROMISED myself I wouldn't bang on like Fyre in this thread...but I just couldn't help myself.

LOL! I was going to agree 100% with your rating but didn't want to come off like I was banging again!

EXCELLENT review and rating. Spot ON!

Yes - probably...it definitely leaves you wanting more...

and humming at the end (another Jrny outro, different but great) conjure the best feeling of melancholy...in a good way :D

So true! The outro is subtle but it's one of the great melancholy Journey moments.

Little Girl is EXACTLY that. Pure brilliance.

I posted here recently about the line Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo little girl as being perhaps a lift from a Sam Cooke song. Guess which one?
