This has NO BEARING on Andrew, but guys, this thing might never come to light.

Journey is all about Contracts And Lawyers, Champaign Downtown.
Journey is all about gag orders.
Journey is all about fleecing the masses. - EDIT: They love performing, and Soto is a HECK of a frontman, so this isn't entirely true. Actually, Soto is pretty innocent in all of this. This all falls on the shoulders of the other guys.

The interviews didn't address Tapegate, so I am no longer interested anyway. Heck, at this point I think it is funny how Augeri has the guys by the "jewels".

Let me give you the Cliffs Notes version of what it would have been:

Yes, it is true. Steve had some medical issues. We waited for him, with Jeff filling in, but medically he couldn't go on. Now, we are excited that Jeff is able to continue with us. We have done some writing, and would like to get in the studio sometime late next year. We are excited about the future, and think the fans are in for a treat".

Nothing about what REALLY happened. By the time Augeri and company filter the interview, it will be the equal of Behind The Music.

I was EXTREMELY excited about Journey Soto. After all the hype and then the let down, I have become uninterested. From the way this place and Back Talk look lately, I may not be the only one.


Well, back to my 81 Houston DVD! Perry may have been a jerk and control freak as well (the truth about him fell down the same black hole as the truth about Augeri) but MAN, could that guy SING!
