I'm sure all the other loons here have heard this before, but I never had. I was blown away today to hear how different he sounds. I thought I'd share in case anyone else hadn't hear it. This is "United We Stand" from "The Magic Sword - Quest For Camelot" CD. He's amazing!

Exactly. It almost sounds like a different person if u didn't know the "perryisms" of his voice. He sounds awesome in that low range too. Very sexy & he-man.

I also love the bodhran on that song. But then I'm Irish & used to play the bodhran so I guess that's expected. (For anyone who doesn't know, that's the "drum" sound & it's pronounced "bow-rahn"...bow to rhyme w/now.)

Well, now that you put it THAT way....

Let's just say that Steve almost took off his shirt during LTS on the ROR tour..it was like a "strip tease"...he pulled half his shirt down and ran his tongue over his top lip.....Good Lord....

I bought it because it was in the $5.50 bin at Walmart. *hee*

I love this song. SO doesn't sound like him. I mean it does to me, cuz I know ...how'd you put it? the "Perryisms". But still.

"King Perry" - haha.

And I love the Celtic sound (Irish here... hi!)... the bodhrán is ...in a weird way...kinda sexy sounding on here.

That's our very own SP in the splendor of "low tones". Can't u hear the Perryisms in the vocal quality? I can. But yes, it took me back a bit. Wow!

I love the "Libery & justice for all" in that BIG theatrical voice.

I love his voice on this too. I bought the movie for my grandson just so I could listen to the SP parts. The only other song that I can think of where he reaches down for that low range is Captured by the Moment and then he still doesn't get that low.

I've got a VHS of the making of the video he did for the song. He talks about it and sings I changed my voice like this. Fun to watch but sorry sis I can't copy it either. :(

I don't even hear him singing on that one. I've always thought it was just one that he wrote and/or produced.

That is him near the end. If I didn't know for a fact it was him, would have never guessed it either.
