Trial By Fire sounds like feces. It is a horrible funeral dirge. His voice is crippled. Granted, not Augeri crippled, but it is soooooooooo obvious why --- didn't want to tour. He sounds like he was gargling with razor blades. Just another example of a bunch of hardcore fans trying to justify a pile of shit.

Compared to Perry in his prime, you're right. However, I still think he sounds good on "Trial By Fire". That being said, I think Perry sounded a whole hell of a lot better on his FTLOSM tour in '94 and '95 than he did in '86 & '87 on the ROR tour.

Good point. This proves that even aging ten years or so, one can actually sound better. ROR tour killed Perry. If anyone here saw that tour, it was amazing, and although I didn't particularly enjoy the speed up of songs, it was imo, their best tour ever. Perry definitely needed a break. Fuckin Herbie ran his ass into the ground....drove that car til it had no cylinders left to fire.
