Yea they are...

Neal's lawyers are fighting the rest of the Band's legal team over
the "Purple Shirt" issue!
Neal wants the new contracts to stipulate that
no one else can wear any purple clothing on stage
or in any promotional pix and the rest of the guys,
though they don't really want to ever wear purple,
think that this request is just another gay "Neal Ego trip"
and are just fighting him on it for fun :)

Oh, I forgot to also add that Perry's lawyers are involved as well.
It seems that "The Voice" took offense to the outfits that Neal and Jeff
wore onstage this past Halloween season.
He wants all of the new contracts to stipulate that NO ONE
in the band currently known as Journey will ever grow their hair
past their shoulders and that should a tuxedo be required for any function, be it a wedding,
an awards ceremony... NO ONE will wear a tux with tails :)

CH, let's put a line in there about never wearing red leather WIGGLER pants again. :D

And my great fear now is that the interviews and the diary will not live up to the expectation built up over several weeks.

But I'm sure it won't be long now.

I have no doubt the interviews and diary will be everything everyone expects from you,Andrew.
Not only are you one of the few journalists with any integrity, but you have no problem asking some of the hard questions.
I have never seen you lob softballs as far as your interviews are concerned.
I will be waiting for a great read, just like everyone else, that posts here and not only appreciates but, respects what you do.

There is no need for that one...
Jeff would NEVER stoop that low :D

Andrew, have YOU ever thought of writing a book someday? Have you ever interviewed/spoken with Herbie Herbert? A no-holds barred book by you would be really something :)

Neal is also suing Perry for wearing a purple shirt on stage 12 years ago.
That's what the UJB interview is about this weekend, and it's also not helping matters get wrapped up any time soon.

As long as those red pants never see the light of a Journey stage again. That's ALL that matters, really.

well, Andrew changed the header to read: Journey LIVE in L.A. 2006 - special feature & interviews coming soon! Only a few more weeks until 2007 & then what will it read...sorry, but this is pretty ridiculous...I know it isn't your fault, Andrew - it is just the entire thing - whatever the heck it is that is holding it up.

I feel bad for Andrew, I'm sure he would have loved to have given us this interview a long time ago :(

I think it will another 18 days. The feature will arrive on Xmas day and either make all the Augeri fans happy or all the JSS fans happy. The folks that just like JRNY wont give a flying f**k one way or the other.

Doesn't look like it's gonna be this week, but I suppose it could still happen.

As for it being on Xmas day... nah, I don't think that's gonna happen... who would know though. They've already done a few things I didn't think they would do so anything's possible.

I am honestly starting to wonder if there will be an 'official' announcement, or if they just assume everyone knows by now with the tour next year, etc. and just don't want to fool with it anymore. :?:

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I'm not a fan of Augeri or JSS (yet)...but it will be a dark day if Augeri rejoins the band...for me, anyway.

I don't think you need to worry about that Matthew. In a way I would like it if he did, but I understand that he's gone... and they have to go on I suppose.

A quote that sticks in my mind from an interview Drew did with Neal at some point (can't remember the exact one) is "Nothing ever stays the same." :D

Maybe we should all just pretend we're not interested then it'll appear

On a more serious note though, it would be good if we could hear the official word before Xmas. Cos then it would be done and the guys could start the new year with the new singer etc... you know what I mean.

I'm sure Andrew didn't shell out all that cash to buy each of his kids their own Playstation3's to miss them opening them to post the interviews. :D

As a journalist, doesn't it come to a point where you must "do what you have to do"? Even if some may not agree with your timing?

Friday's main page update looks very promising:

"Speaking of next week - due to the Reviews update taking longer than expected, the Firefest 3 report and review will now be online next week, as will another major feature I have been working on!"

Also, the page header now reads:

"Journey Live In LA 2006 - Special Features and Interviews - Coming Real Soon!"

:D
