First of all, I know you are the moderator and my post was directed to you. I have posted comments to the effect that this site is full of Augeri haters ON THIS SITE. Maybe not as direct as the post you are referring to but I HAVE. I admit 98% is too high a number as there are certain posters that do seem to dominate the site by thrashing anything positive posted about Steve A and belaboring the bullshit lyp-synch theory to death, etc. My issue is that you have allowed these posters to dominate the site, thrash Steve A endlessly and push the lyp-synch theory endlessly as if the guy was completely worthless- which is complete bullshit and you know it. The man worked his ass off for this band, did a fine job (I didn't say perfect!) for Journey for 8 years. He deserves respect and you have allowed certain posters here to disrespect him to unbelievable levels. You say you are a fan of his and will remain one but they why have you put no controls on these posters and allowed rampant lyp-synch rumors to be promoted with no REAL proof? You're talking about Andrew censoring the board as opposed to moderating. Andrew lets people have their say on this board and steps in if it gets out of hand at his discretion. It's Andrew's baby and it's his decision as to how this site and forum is run. Andrew isn't the one bitching about Steve A, he's just allowing people to express an opinion. If he were to police this board like BT which is what you're suggesting, the board would suffocate. To be fair, he has pulled people up on what they've said plenty of times.

I think there are many who feel the same way here. Life and Journey go on. I have seen him live, heard him on cd, and enjoyed it all. I am just excited even more now with JSS on board. I can say that easily because I have seen JSS with them twice already. As I have said, best concert I have seen live ever. PERIOD. None other even close. I wish Augeri and his family the best. I have worked in healthcare my entire adult life, and though we joke about things sometimes to keep from going fucking crazy, that is ENTIRELY over the line. You threaten violence or death on someone, whether on an internet board or face to face, should have charges pressed against you and prosecuted as far as I am concerned. Also having a degree in Criminal Justice, I don't believe there is any difference how you do it, it is still A CRIME.

Like I said in the other thread over there, I am not an Augeri hater. Do not, and I will say this once again, lump me into that. You do not speak, nor will ever, speak for me. You started a thread over there, which part of it resorted into bashing of this site, which CJ had every right to lock.

Andrew is a great guy. He allows freedom of speech here. If it gets too out of hand, he deals with it. As for Tapegate, there was more than just people on here who caught on to it. If you don't believe it, that is fine. That is your right, but others who have done research, etc, do believe in it, and they are entitled to have their say about it. My advice to you on this is if you don't like what is being said, skip the post/thread !
