Not to mention that Augeri disrespected the Journey name, its fans and its catalog when he decided to stand on stage and deceive rock's greatest fans. While some of the names he has been called WERE a bit over the top, he DOES deserve a lot of criticism, as does the rest of the band and its management.

How would that work with the time difference? I'm assuming that Journey management will post the news one morning, but by that point will you already know it is happening? Kind of a time warp thing? Or will you get the go ahead one morning your time in time for the morning update (afternoon/evening our time) and management will post it on the official site the next morning? My brain hurts just thinking about this

The announcement will be released at a time when everyone can go with it live at the same time.

I am a day ahead, but more like 19 hours ahead, so the different between here and the US Westcoast is actually 5 hours if you forget about what day of the week it is.
9am local - 2pm US Westcoast 5pm East Coast. Quite easy to tee things up....and of course, I can always start work early one day

I have a gut feeling that we will be seeing this "person" again. And the same old crap will be going on. I am hoping once the Official Announcement is posted, some crap will go away.

Same here. Even though I AM AND WILL ALWAYS BE AN AUGERI SUPPORTER, I am ready for this to die away. I was done (don't agree with how much was done), but it was done. I blame the WHOLE band and mgmt, not just Augeri. The band more so, since Augeri was to have some time off this year, but the toured anyway, knowing that had a sick lead singer, and knowing that they could pull some more "magic" from the speakers. They all should have said no we are taking some time off, but one person does not make a band.
As much as I would like to see Augeri in Journey, I know it is not going to happen, can will continue to be a Journey fan and still follow Augeri.
I think JSS will do good, if not great (still waiting on the first cd to pass judgment). I do have an issue with the language. Yes I know it is Rock-N-Roll, and can expect some cussing. But F this and F that with GD through in every sentence, then my Journey days (concert wise) are over. When I say them in Nashville this year, not one cuss word was said .
But it is best that the band moves on, and that the past be dropped. Journey needs to let the interviews go, make an announcement and go.
For those who on Agueri about wanting more money and holding things up, can you blame him. We do not know the circumstances behind tape gate, he may not have been to blame, it could have been do this or go home. We do not know, so I do not hold anything against him for wanting more money or back in. But coming back in although I would like, I think would be a bad move for the band, for now-ERIC
