Not crazy at all! That's the safest way to go!!!

My wife has been sawed in half 5 times. She liked that it was scheduled, she knew what to expect, etc. Its been rough on her though.

lol- sawed in half, that's a good one! I usually say I was gutted like a fish, lol. My 2nd WAS scheduled but the little booger decided to come a week ahead of that date, so I still had some labor, little PITA, lol. But that's ok, she's more than worth it, lol. :)

Sure!

I'm hoping you get it out before Xmas folks.

Am I the only one that doesn't think the guys want to start the new year without making the new singer official?

Nope, I would think they would want to also.

Come on guys, give us all an early Christmas present! 8)

Did Drew say he was gonna be offline Friday?

If I read that right it would appear we won't be hearing anything this week... cos it's already Friday in Oz.

I wouldn't rule it out

That may be the best thing to do at this point!!! I bet even Jeff is saying "What the hell?!" By the way, on a note off topic. If anyone gets the chance to see Trans Siberian Orchestra and have not done so, it's one helluva show!!

There is no announcement this week.

It really is bullshit that it has taken this long and pisssed of Journey fans have been patient long enough.

If it does NOT happen next week, then I give up.

And I will close the Journey forum while I am having a Christmas break, as I refuse to be subjected to the negativity that will no doubt consume the fanbase, made to wait even longer to find out wat is happening with their favourite band.

As much as I like the forum sometimes, I think if it hasn't happened before Xmas you're probably right to shut it so you can get a break.

It looks like this was a failed induction of labor then. Well, we tried, go home, get some rest and we'll try again next week!

I agree Lula. And Andrew, I am so sorry you have been done this way, along with the rest of us who love this band. Truly disappointing. Just out of curiosity, do they keep you informed at all? :(

I agree. Here are my thoughts. This band has become totally distant from those of us who have stood by them, right or wrong, spent our hard earned money on their tickets, merchandise, cd's, etc. SOME kind of brief message would be better than what we are receiving. There are plenty of bands out there in their genre that communicate with fans through their website all the time. I understand some band members have had bad experiences on the Journey site, but we have stood by them through everything they have done, and that has happened. It is disheartening they don't care any more than this. I understand legal issues, but if things are not worked out by now, it makes me wonder if the end result will even be what we anticipate. And Andrew, once again thank you for the hard work you put into this piece, and I hate this for you to have to put it on the backburner.

Right on!.......it really is getting quit tiresome. These guys should show a little respect and consideration to their fans who have supported them ( financially and otherwise ) and have been there for them faithfully....even through the drought years and through all the changes ( and scandels ) Even espee has surfaced to say a few words to the fans. I don't get Schon, Friga, and Ross not saying anything anywhere. JSS is a cool guy who actually seems to care about the fans and have some interraction with them.
Hopefully he will be able to teach Neal and the guys something about giving back a little! :(

You're all Class, Drew.

I guess what bothers me the most is that,
mostly because of Jeff's interent experience
and all the positive "buzz" about the band during the tour,
I was hoping the band and management would be smart enuff
to 'keep riding that wave' while it was still there...

Its been so long that it has now become a "Buzz Kill".

And I started having all this re-newed faith in all things Journey...
I guess, for my own sanity, that I hope it is Management and not the Band
that is dragging its feet on this.
management I could understand...
I think it would piss me off more f it were the other way around...
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

Shutting the forum down???

Postby journeywoman » Fri Dec 15, 2006 11:49 am

Oh come on Andrew, just because they have left you and all of us hanging don't shut the forum down. It's really been all your hard work and sleepless nights not ours to get this story and put up with the aggravation of peepers but ya now there are some of us that really like this place.Don't send us away,I really don't want to become a peeper and besides I am not a big lady and I wouldn't fit in really.I'm only 5'6 and only weigh about 135 so you see I wouldn't be welcome. Please keep the forum open, where else can we all go to see what is up with Yulog's antics?Too see who Ar is pissed off with next and the other ladies Nora, Salle seem really nice. So please as a little present to alot of us keep it on.

Sorry, I shouldn't have vented like that.

I wish I could explain the whole situation, things are being sorted, but you can't blame the band for these delays.

6 working days until Christmas. I'm confident news will be with us shortly - as will this bloody feature story - then we can all have a nice Christmas break.

Andrew, I'm glad you did for a couple of reasons. For one, you deserve the right to vent. It has to be tough on you. Second. it let's us know you understand our frustrations, and why we vent, and that we are not just trying to drive you crazy!! :) I just hope all is still in order with the band. :(
