FRONTIERS Bootleg (Kind of) College Park (UPDATED)

Postby Jeremey » Mon Dec 11, 2006 1:00 pm

Hey guys!

Had video running at last night's show but the lighting system really fucked with the focus on the camera, so I have some audio, but the quality isn't great. Anyway, I'll try to get the second set posted here if anyone's interested. The audio is really rough, but it's a good listen. We open with Don't Stop Believin in the second set, and there was a bit of delay at the beginning, but here's the first half of set two:

DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'
OPEN ARMS
I'LL BE ALRIGHT WITHOUT YOU/CUPID
KEYBOARD SOLO (INTRO - WCN)
WHO'S CRYIN' NOW
SEND HER MY LOVE
ASK THE LONELY
LINE OF FIRE

Second half to come in the next day or so....Sorry about the audio quality!!

OMG, you guys are EXCELLENT!!!! Wish I could've made it to the show; I've been out of it lately with other shit going on as I mentioned on the Annex..... I'll definitely try to catch the January show that everyone's talking about. Santa Fe brings back MEMORIES  Actually, the Vouz and the Cellar were some of my old hangouts with friends who went to U. of MD. Probably still have some of that nasty 'ol Vouz Goo on some of my shoes

Anyone remember the Paragon in College Park?? That used to be one of my regular stops. The Paragon used to book a few of the bands that I managed back in the day. Fond memories!!!!! :D

Pam- the Paragon used to be right above the Cellar, correct? I remember it! I only went up there a couple times though, tried to lay low in the Cellar since I was very much under age at the time, sneaking in....used to slip a $10 bill underneath my fake i.d. at the door. This was back in the late 80's mind you. Gawd, I'm glad I don't have kids. I'd be worried to death knowing what I used to do.

Hey man, thanks a lot....No fancy equipment there, just a $300 camcorder. I actually hesitated to post due to the sound quality of the recording, but wanted to share cause of the MR.COM folks that made it to the show & thought it'd be cool to post for you all.

Would like some time to finish set 2 this week, just check back in the next day or so...

Thanks Steve - Had some tech difficulties with sound the first set, but I may be able to salvage a few tunes and post them after this weekend. I am not optimistic that your daughter will be able to get into Clarendon Grill - It's very heavily monitored and usually completely packed, so I'm not sure they'd allow anyone underage that they couldn't keep their eyes on. There's always fake IDs though! Also, we may end up doing an outdoor festival or gig somewhere up there in the spring as well...
