I am reading this cracking up because about 20 min ago, I threw up in my car! There was no alcohol involved though. The nurse that works for me (for a Home Health agency) is totally slammed today and a patient needed to be seen. She is a patient that I used to see when I was a visit nurse so I went to see her. I have been feeling "icky" all day and the whole time I was there I felt very nauseated, I am very good at the mind over matter thing so I kept talking myself out of it. This patient was so excited that I came to see her cuz it's been a long time since I was there so she wanted to talk and talk. I drew her blood, gave her a shot that she needed and tried to make a run for it. When I finally got away, I ran out to my car, threw my stuff in the back seat and threw up! Luckily I had just gone to the store and I had a plastic bag in the car so I threw up, then went to the gas station across the street from her house and threw it away.

Lula, you should consider keeping a supply of plastic bags in your car, it worked out very well for me! I'm headed over to my doctor's office right now to pick up some phenergan-I just hope I can keep it down long enough for it to work-if not, I guess Kirk will get to give me a shot!!

When I told Kirk I was going to get some phenergan, he eagerly offered to assist in administering the med (this is also what he had in mind) I really bursted his bubble when I told him it was oral phenergan and even if it were PR, I can do it myself thank you very much!
