Hardline stewpid - need help

Damn. I really never followed Neal's solo stuff except Bad English. But I just discovered this clip on YouTube of Hardline. I like it. Neal's guitars & Deen's drumming are bad as hell!

Looks like the album is on iTunes. Is it as good as this song? Worth buying?

Who was the lead singer? He's hot. I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating peanuts. Does he still look that good?

Johnny gioeli, was the singer -first album was very good --2nd album really lacked Neals direction and didnt even come close----Neal actually was married to gioeli's sister for some time.

If I remember well,Johnny's brother was in the band too,in fact I think the two of them came up with Hardline.

I think the 1st Hardline album is great - the 2nd is truly missing that 'magic touch' though. I saw them live here in the UK supporting Extreme and to this day they were probably the loudest band I have ever seen. I was also fortunate enough to meet Neal and his then girlfriend (wife?) who was of course a Gioeli sister - man she was a very beautiful lady indeed. Kinda funny really - as they came out the hotel, a few guys went up to him and asked to get a load of stuff signed, but he knew right away they weren't fans and just wanted signatures to make some cash and promptly told em to 'disappear', or words to that effect anyway.

I remember reading an interview with Johnny somewhere and apparently Neal was only supposed to guest on a few tracks, but loved it so much he kinda persuaded them to let him join, which the band were reluctant to do because they wanted to make an impact on their own steam, not because there was a Journey member in their ranks. A bit of googling should find the interview. Anyways...

I too saw Hardline supporting Extreme at the Wembley arena - my first time seeing Neal Live - he was awesome and the vocalist was really powerful. Double Eclipse is a great album--- especially Hot Cherie (Nothing to do with Mrs Blair LOL) Great show but my one underlying memory was of all the teenage girls screaming whenever Nuno Bettancourt appeared on the overhead screens. Very disconcerting..... but he couldn't half play guitar.

Yes, get the first album, Double Eclipse, it's great. And yes Johnny's brother Joey was in the band too.

Deen signed my Double Eclipse insert at a Journey concert, Ross took it & got a good laugh out of Deen's pic inside, lol.

Yep, they had a metric TON of hair, lol. I remember seeing an interview with them & they were joking around about how gross the shower would be by the time they all got done using it, someone would say "Hey who put that rug in there" & Johnny's reply was "That's not a rug, if you know what I mean". lol
