So rap_still_sucks...does Journey use pre-recorded backing vocals? LOL it should be pretty easy to tell with that recording! Maybe I should toss up some Leppard recordings to compare

you probably weren't persistent (OBSESSIVE) enough! i think i tried 10x a day for about 2 weeks before i got registered. it was worth it. dime is a great site with lots of good quality stuff.

One thing for sure, although they certainly use pre-recorded BG Vox to fatten the sound, Deen is also singing BG vox live, and he sounds so good he could sing the entire show and everyone would love it.

By the way, I don't think I ever heard anyone in Journey trying to convince anyone that the BG vox are 100% live, and Shania Twain of Britney Spears BG Vox don't sound the same as Journey's either! :lol:
