No wager from me! I liked the guy, but the thought of a solo cd doesn't seem too promising to me.

It will probably sell about as well as the CD release of the newly "re-energized" Journey....

Once upon a time I would've been excited for this album.
No, it wasn't the fact that he lipped and screwed me out of my hard earned drachmas.
Actually, MeatLoaf is currently miming on tour and I still recomend everyone to pick up Bat 3.

Steve's solo Generations tracks just proved to me that he wasn't the braintrust behind Tall Stories.
If Steve could re-collaborate with those guys, maybe I'd pick it up.

The key word of this wager should be *IF*,you know?

I think the idea is not how many copies will be purchased,it's all about if the album will be recorded & released.

I am curious.

I think it will sell 10-15k, and a new Journey album will sell 350,000.....

Does he even have anyone who will put up the money for a sure-fail album?

Aside from a few people on message boards, no one even knows who the guy is.

Maybe he can finance it himself w/the settlement he got for his part of Nomota?

I just can't believe it would sell well. I think no more than 400-500 & that's being generous.

How many fans does he have on here and BT? That's how many it will sell.

It's not really a fair comparison anyway, considering "Generations" was basically given away to hundreds of thousands of people and that, even when it was in the stores, wasn't pushed at all.

I bet Augeri's solo cd will only be sold on his site, if the site ever gets up and running. I don't believe that any big name music stores will carry it because the buyer for the store will say.................. "Steve Augeri?............ who is he? I have never heard of him before.".............. lmao!!

He can get extra sales by using the sticker on the front of the package stating" former journey vox" and going with a company like frontiers maybe he will do his interview with Andrew which could spark some more PR for the album.

Festive?

I just read all those sorry fucks at BT. "Some of us don't believe tapes were used." I just pull my fucking hair out when I see how these mentalally retarded asswipes homer up to Augeri, fagging him up even more.

I slayed all their asses. Knox was over there talking about "winning" and I wasn't really getting the point until he said that everyday, we talked about the truth at MR and had to hear "Wait until the official announcement" 35 times a day.

You know what, we DID win, and it feels so fucking good. We have a band now that can play the fuck out of the music and sing live....get that Penny, you oversized blimp? LIVE! All you red state, three titted, four chinned, chocalate milkshake stained beer gutted old housewive bitches get that? We have a LIVE fucking band now.

Don't like it, don't like JSS because he swears, too bad. Stop talking about leaving and get the fuck out already. I told you I was right and lookie here; KARMA. Isn't that the word I received in hate filled emails daily? KARMA.

I got your KARMA, and it looks real fucking good about now. I am off to work, because my boss is an old underwear shit stained white haired cocksucker who just gave me a 500 dollar bonus and he needs me. If that old fuck hadn't thrown me some bones, I would have told him to go fuck himself but alas, my spirit is neverending.

Hard to say- there are enough "wigglers" out there to sell some copies, but as for myself, I'd have to hear it first before I would consider buying it.

How many wigglers? 200, 300, 400? I think I'm being generous. Most of em wouldn't put money together for a CD either unless it was stellar.

But I ask this? What label is gonna pick up HIS CD? Heck if Journey has trouble getting a label, who is gonna do the singer who replaced Steve Perry? Shit.

How many members on here can seriously say that they knew or had heard Jeff before the Journey gig? Especially people from the States. The man is more known than Augeri for sure, but be serious he aint no world wide phenomenon. People in the UK and Europe know the guy as he has continually toured here and released cds for us on a yearly basis.

I would guess that Augeri's solo album will sell pretty well.

I knew of him from his early days, singing lead vox on Yngwie Malmsteen's first two albums. Other than that, I hadn't really heard anything about him until I heard about Soul SirkUS. I then went back and discovered his solo work and other work with Talisman, Axel Rudi Pell, etc.
