I just saw advertisement for "Steve Perrys Greatest Hits" on the GAC music channel, on sale today in stores or on steveperrycd.com. It had songs from Street Talk and FTLOSM. They played a few seconds of Missing You. I was just in the FYE store last week and the dude never heard of Steve Perry. Nice way to start Christmas Eve

Steve, that's not a new CD. I've had it for several months. I think I probably bought it at Wal-Mart. Shouldn't be hard to find. 8)

I still find the fact that Sony put out a GH CD for someone with two CD's hilarious, but that's just me. ;)

I think there's been some talk of that being a contractual thing. He had to put out another CD and this is what they came up with.

I thought Trial By Fire was the "contractual obligation" but I could be wrong. They probably BOTH were. I thought Herbie had said that TBF was just Perry's way of obligating an existing contract and that Herbie knew when it WAS obligated he would opt out of touring....fucking the band, fans and Sony.

I remember that too St John, but it was also said about +5. In fact, I think it may have even been mentioned in a Perry interview, but I can't swear to that.
