The strength of Journey is the back catalog. I find it hard to believe that Steve and Deen are/where full partners. Why reward them for something they had nothing to do with? If they are indeed, or in Steve's case was, full partners, Journey's management is worse than I thought and its long-time members are pretty dumb as well.

You do understand quite well, and are correct in your assessment of Manglement's responsibility in this case.

There can be limited partners and full partners in an LLC. And in this case, there are.

If Augeri is having to take the full blame (which from most fans he is) I hope he got paid very well. This is not a one person thing. The band fall. If they were not going to give Augeri a chance to come back, after they said he would (?) he needed to be paid well.
