Doubtful. But I will not jinx it since I almost always lose bets.

But you will owe me $50 when Hillary is not elected president.

Baltimore has a monster D, Nig, but their offense isn't taking them to the promise land! McNair is older than dirt and Jamal Lewis needs to retire! San Diego is on a mission this season!

McNair started all 16 games this season and is currently nursing no injuries to speak of. The Ravens line only gave up 17 sacks ALL YEAR, less than half the amount they gave up last year.

The Ravens played the Chargers already this year and beat them. Rivers looked like a deer caught in the headlights. And guess how many of his dozens of TDs Tomlinson scored in that game? NONE.

I will take the Ravens D and an experienced QB like McNair over the Chargers good, but lesser D, and a first year starting QB. Like Ray Lewis said.. "13-3 is nice. But now it's huntin' time."

You just made our (John and I) point.

Since that game, San Diego hasn't lost.
They lost that game on the road. Close.
This time in it's San Diego.
Tomlinson did NOT score. You really think he will NOT score this time around? He is the best player in the NFL.

Ravens have lost one game since then, on the road against Cincy when they only had 4 days rest. Only lost by 6.

No team is better equipped than the Ravens to beat them. No one runs against them. the Ravens shut him down, swarmed Rivers, and won the game.

The guy made a deal to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge instead of facing murder charges or even obstruction of justice, for that mater.

Here's part of the transcript from his plea deal from http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/ ... bn.01.html ...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Mr. Lewis did knowingly resist and obstruct Detective Ken Allen (ph), who was the lead detective in this case, and other city of Atlanta law enforcement officers in the lawful discharge of their official duties by encouraging others to interfere and to hinder the investigation into the deaths of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar.

At this time, I would like to ask you, Mr. Lewis, how do you plea to one count of obstruction as contained in the accusation 00SC06574?

LEWIS: Guilty.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Your honor, please tender for the court.

BONNER: Mr. Garland, do you wish to...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Just very briefly, your honor. In Fulton County, the conduct involved here, involved Ray Lewis saying to the people in the limousine: Keep your mouths shut. He also gave a partial statement, which this court heard during this trail, which did not contain all of the information. I would point out to the court that later that afternoon he called the police and invited them to come out. However, he fully acknowledges his responsibility for those acts.

BONNER: Mr. Louis, you are pleading guilty under the First Offender Act; is that correct?

LEWIS: Yes. BONNER: And you aware of the risks and the benefits of the First Offender Act under the law of this state?

LEWIS: Yes.

BONNER: And you wish to take advantage of your right to plead guilty under the First Offender Act?

LEWIS:

BONNER: You are pleading to the crime of obstruction of a law enforcement officer; do you understand that?

LEWIS: Yes.

KAGAN: We've been listening to NFL star Ray Lewis as he pleads guilty to one count; a misdemeanor of obstruction of justice, this in relation to the January 31 stabbing death of Richard Lollar and Jacinth Baker that happened here in Atlanta.

In exchange for this plea agreement, Ray Lewis will have the murder charges against him dropped. He will get 12 months probation, and, in an interesting twist, he becomes star witness for the prosecution in the case against the two remaining defendants, Joseph Sweeting and Reginald Oakley.

Yes, Dave. They knew Ray didn't kill anyone. They didn't have a leg to stand on if they had pursued those charges. The two guys he was with were the guilty ones. There are witnesses to that effect. All Ray did, and I am not saying it was right, was obstruct justice (briefly) by not ratting out his "friends". You think he should be treated like a murderer for that? The man paid for what he did, and has done nothing but raise millions for charity and be an exemplary Baltimore citizen since then.

You are basing your opinion of the man on one horrible night of bad judgement. Tell me of any other instances where Ray Lewis did anything wrong.

The fact is, if you or I had done something like that, we would've spent some time in prison for it. Yet Lewis gets off with 12 months probation because he's an all pro athlete. Lots of athletes raise money for charity for no reason other than it's in their contract to do so, so the charity thing doesn't prove anything to me.

Bullshit. They went after him harder BECAUSE he is a pro athlete. Same with Jamal Lewis. DA's try to make a name for themselves when they can nail a pro athlete for something.

Check out what Ray is doing in Baltimore now.

Did he even do any jail time? I can't believe that if I were in that situation and pled guilty to obstruction of justice that I'd not spend any jail time whatsoever.

Yeah, I know. He paid his dues, so o well. He is YOUR problem now....if you get that far. Your pass defense is shit. Indy might run up 40 on you. However, they can give up 40 on the ground alone. KC is not a problem. New England is always a problem. hell, I don't see you guys coming to SD.

If you do, why don't NIG and AR swing by my crib and chill.
