I also got my tickets this morning right at 10:00. I too was offered the tickets in the 11th row on far side but opted for the 15th row in the middle.

Anyone that is traveling in for the Pompano show feel free to PM about where to stay and where not too stay, not too many hotel/motel in Pompano, dont want too see anybody in a RAT HOLE !!. So good spots too stay close by. Also a great sport bar not too far from the venue. Bru's Room owend by Bob Bruskinski, played for "The Ohio State" and the Miami Dolphins.

Think Im gonna splurge for those front row seats

Hey- how are you all getting tickets already???
I thought they didn't go on sale until next week? I've got my hotel booked, but no tickets yet
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine and chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "what a ride!"

By becoming a member to Ruth Ekhard Hall....it costs $50 to become a member ...then you can purchase tickets in advance to this show and any other performance there for a year,,,, so you'll have to fork over the $50 more...or wait till the 12th.

Thanks TVL! Thought I was going crazy for a minute. ( not a long trip, I grant you...... )

I guess I'll have to wait. I just can't see paying $50 to become a member to a place I've been twice in 20 years! If I lived closer, or had a better chance to go there more often, I would. Most of the acts that play there though play much closer to me as well. And half of the reason I'm going is to meet up with you all. Otherwise I'd wait for a venue closer to me.

Cant say as I blame ya for not wanting to pay the extra. I went ahead because it is one of the venues closest to me....that and the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa...so I'll benefit from it. Cant wait to meet you and everyone else thats coming to this show! 8)

Thanks for understanding. Now- I AM a member at the Maxwell King Center here in Melbourne. That venue, along with anything in Orlando would be worth it. Hell- even West Palm Beach ampitheater would be worth it ( been there 6 times in the last 3 years!) But the last time I was at Ruth Eckard, I was in college- 300 years ago......... :D

Yes, we are! If I could afford to go to both Clearwater and Pompano, I'd say let's carpool! But I can't leave Hubby home all weekend with the other kids alone- He'd kill me!
And though he likes Journey, He's already seen them once this year. ( well, Nov. in Orlando!) He's not THAT big a music fan, to see the same band more than once per year! I wish, but.........

I understand. My husband doesn't go to concerts with me unless he has to. My daughter goes and it's a great time. She is the one that has got me into going to all of the concerts.
