Don't overlook the Colts, my friend. If they can stop the run again like they did against KC, the Colts will pull it out.

Chiefs didn't show up. Colts basically had a bye. The Ravens are WAAAY more physical than the Colts. I expect them to beat up on the colts pretty good.

Colts have lost their last 4 road games.
Ravens have won 11 of their last 12 home games.

I can see firsthand how pumped the city and the team is for this game. No way the Colts catch the Ravens sleeping this Saturday. If it was the Pats coming to town, I would be more concerned. I am a Brady believer.

My God if Grammatica had, forget about blocking, if he had just gotten in the goddam WAY of that one dude, Romo takes that thing to the house....that's how CLOSE that came...Gramattica should be on the street.

I SWORE that his mopey presence on the sideline was going to jinx the Eagles....

Then when Lorenzen was coming in to run those sneaks on 3rd and 1 for the Giants I was like..."What in god's name is McNabb doing in a Giants uni and running sneaks?!?!"

Lol, the only thing that was missing was Lorenzen going play action and throwing an interception,
D-MAC style!

It is exactly your sentiment that I believe gives the Colts a chance at winning this one. There is such a thing as being over-pumped/confident.

The BEST part was Terrell Owens offerering Roma comfort and counsel. Give me a break...that would be the LAST person I'd cry over a beer with!

Yeah, but The Colts have a history of choking in playoff games, esp. ones not in their cushy dome.

Yea, but you gotta separate the way fans view it ("38-3 at the half, baby!!!!" was one call I heard in Philly before the game yesterday) from the way the teams actually see things.

Indy is going to have to establish Addai or some semblance of a ground game or it's just open season on the qb back there.

Aw, forget about it. Corky chokes every post season. Turns into a pick machine. Hell, at least McLorenzen's gotten the Iggles to SB (and choked, literally).

Romo is a bum. Holding for a field goal is NOT hard. Grammatica gets paid to kick....nothing more. Rather than bringing girls to practice, Romo should've been practicing field goal holding. Besides, Romo had a 5 yard head start on that defender and STILL got caught. He choked.....plain and simple.

I'm not asking Grammatica to get in a 3point stance and pancake someone...jsut get in the way for a split second and get earholed into the 5th row if you have to.

that ball was glossy too. :?

Yep, Chiefs telegraphed their gameplan all week and failed to show up. I spend most of the game wishing the Broncos had showed up to the 49'ers game. Chiefs had no business in the playoffs - we're not a playoff level team and our coaches can't seem to come up with a plan B when plan A fails.

Go Ravens, take down the Colts and Bolts. 8)

I thought I was the only one that noticed the "glossy" ball. Hell, it looked like it had been dipped in Crisco. VERY glossy compared to the balls used the whole game. Still, he DID catch it...he fucked up the easy part, simply putting it down.

If the birds stellar oline can keep a body on that murderer....LOL I'm sorry, "Justice Obstructor" Lewis in the middle the eagles would have a shot....

GO PACK GO!!! They will be the suprise of the NFL next year and give Brett the send off he deserves!! I am not caring about any of these games... That field goal snafu in Seattle was just stupendess and what the hell is your **starting QB out there holding for that kick anyway??? Should the special teams coach be fired for keeping Romo in as a holder, once he bcame the starter with all the presure a QB has in a playoff game, then he has to hold for the kick too??? NUTS I tell you...

Even without a running game this season, the Colts' offensive line has been able to protect Manning. They should be able to do so against Baltimore as well, though I'm sure they'll at least put quite a bit of pressure on him. However, even with that, Seattle also did a good job putting pressure on him in last week's game and Manning eventually found his groove checking the ball off to the secondary receivers (Dallas Clark had 9 catches for 103 yards). If that starts happening, the Colts could begin to get enough of a running game going to take some pressure off Manning and allow him to get a few throws out to Reggie Wayne or Marvin Harrison.

Regardless, I don't expect Manning to repeat his three interception performance from last week. I think it'll be a much closer game than most expect and perhaps a surprising outcome if the Ravens players are as overconfident as their fans are.

Wow, the Ravens get no props from you, eh? You're right, the Colts will waltz into that insane asylum and Manning will be able to hear himself think and audible the team into the right play every time. The Ravens are done.

I wouldn't pat the Colts on the back too hard. It wasn't that the Colts suddenly improved their run defense the Chiefs O-line cannot maintain its blocks as it has in the past. They may have been inspired by all the LJ talk. The Chiefs can't open the holes for LJ like they used to (thanks Tony Richardson). And all you have to do is get into Mannings head....a few successful blitzes and Manning will panic and stop the audibles. KC has done it to him in the past.

The Ravens are for real - they'll get the job done.

You apparently didn't actually read what I wrote. I said that I think it'll be a much closer game than most expect and that there may me a different outcome than some expect.

That being said, I expect that the Ravens will win but also don't be surprised if the Colts pull it out...and if they do, I will be laughing my ass off in this forum.

Though I live in the Indianapolis area, I am actually not a Colts fan. I've been a lifelong Cowboys fan, though I guess I will root for the Colts from here on out.
