AR only lets people join the Annex who he knows well, it's kind of like a private club for him and his friends. I, too, registered but then never heard anything and AR doesn't know me either so don't worry, it's nothing personal.

Just an FYI, I save all the registrations I get even though they aren't activated. Once I get to "know" someone online and get a feel for their sense of humor, how they post, etc. then I decide whether to activate the account or not.

A lot of stuff gets posted on the Annex that I wouldn't want the general fanbase to see. Also the humor is crude, and there are bad pictures sometimes.

And joybringer1 is right, it is absolutely nothing personal.

Hey AR,
Thanks for clarifying your admitance policy. I was wondering why my account hadn't been activated yet. Now I understand.

AR, I say give this one an account for originality...lol
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

PerryFanUK - scroll back up the thread and take a look at the pic in AR's signature - and then look at the pic in your signature  I think it's what they call a conflict of interests!! I got him a cold beer, got myself a sponsor and I'm still not in either. I think he prefers the high profile posters and going by your post count you're obviously like me, you only post when you have something worthwhile to say. So don't be expecting admission anytime soon - I'm not :P

Plenty of Perryheads in the Annex.

I do like to read a lot of posts over here though or have a reference from someone I know well though before I approve anything.

Don't let all of Ed's "pelican" talk fool you! The reality is that in spite of what he says about Perry, he respects the talent that Perry has, and knows that Perry was the reason we all came to know of Journey! He's simply one of the Journey fans who is flat out pissed off (and he's not alone) that Perry didn't rejoin the band back in 1998! As long as Journey is around, Perry will remain the most talked about member of the band...past or present! I mean...the guy has been collecting social security for 10+ years, and he still remains a pretty hot topic on all the Journey boards!

I wasn't, John, I was attempting a little humour in the hopes of getting in. I'd tried the beer, tried the sponsor and then I figured I'd go for laughs. Foiled again!!

One thing you can count on, it will NOT be a Mrs. Smith's or any store bought pie. This will be the real fucking deal!

Add your own ice cream, load or whatever topping you prefer!

Save yourself the trouble Vader, and just buy her an apple pie shot at The Grill. A lot less work (and a better feeling afterwards :D )
