The directive for Augeri to lip was agreed on by all and I believe you can take that to that to the bank. Should Augeri have said NO way, Yes, of course! But each and every person involved in the production, from Neal to management to the sound techs knew the drill. Augeri just accelerated his ouster. Yea, I agree that it was ALL the bands member's fault for SA lip synching, they ALL went along with it, they ALL need to take responsibility. That's why I didn't understand why Deen got SO upset in his interview, when he said, he sent his family member looking for those fans that thought he was lip synching, so he could have them come back stage to prove to them that he wasn't lipping when HE sang.

When you have one singer actually fake it in the band, of course some fans may start speculating about someone else in the band faking it too. Deen should have known that would happen, after ALL this happening with SA.

THEN there is NEAL who is the founding member of this band Journey, who has said MANY times to the fans BEFORE the tapegate issue,"This is MY band, and I'll do what I want with MY band". That CLEARLY tells me WHO is running this band & making ALL the decisions for it!!

So therefore I HOLD NEAL THE MOST RESPONSIBLE!! Neal had the power to STOP the tapes from being used, he didn't though, he ALLOWED it to happen.

And for me, I find that really sad because I always thought because THE WAY Neal plays his guitar so spectacularly that he would be the type of musician that would NOT even "consider the thought" of using tapes, much less actually do it. I sure got that wrong about him! It just tells me that Neal doesn't have much integrity,and that it ISN'T about the MUSIC , it's about the almighty dollar for him.

And this is ONE of the reasons I've remained a die hard Perry fan because he has expressed many times in his interviews that he is a perfectionist, that he is alway striving to reach perfection in his singing & music. That tells me that Perry REALLY CARES about his Singing & the music, and wants to always GIVE his VERY BEST to the fans!!
