Well, it was certainly a day for upsets, huh?
First, Virginia Tech upset UNC in ACC basketball (2nd upset this week for Tech, who beat Duke earlier in the week). Then, we have the Colts beating the Ravens (sorry AR & Niggy, but I was rooting for the Colts) and the Saints squeaked by the Eagles.
We watched the football games from the Clarendon Grill. Some asshole behind us was yelling E-A-G-L-E-S every time Philly did something worth cheering for. There were 2 sets of TVs (one on cable and one on satellite) so there were 2 sets of reaction every time something happened. That was kinda funny.
Frontiers didn't go on until after 11:00, and by that time the place was packed. We had a great spot behind the bar 'thingy' but
someone told us we should move down closer to the stage (if that's what you want to call it~way too small for Jeremey & the guys).
Note to self: don't listen to Dave anymore...
I didn't realize how claustrophobic (and old!

) I was until I had a drunk girl on one side of me dancing and making out with her boyfriend, a 6'2" drunken idiot standing RIGHT if front of me who seemed to have absolutely no idea what any of the songs were, but wanted to be in the way anyway, and poor Joe and Dave on the other side of me, unable to move because we were stuck in a 5" space with no where to go. Then, Travis & I moved up to the next level, where a drunken slut fell on top of me and some pussy with a VT soccer shirt on kept backing into me. I thought Travis was gonna punch him before we left.
We left at the end of the first set, cause I was just tipsy enough to feel the redneck in me coming out, and the last thing I would want is to get into some kind of catfight at the Clarendon Grill. (Although it would give us something to talk about...

)
However...Frontiers was awesome, Jeremey is a super performer and the rest of the band were nice and great to talk to as well. It was wonderful meeting Sabrina and I hope to see them again.
We're now looking forward to Clearwater and especially our
May Melee'!!!!
